I wish the people in urban areas could appreciate the risks that farmers are willing to take to provide them with the food they take for granted. Great video. Congrats to the Manitoba farmers from those of us in Ontario.
Sorry to be off topic but does anybody know a trick to get back into an instagram account?? I somehow forgot my login password. I would love any tips you can give me!
@Rowan Kylen I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Although this job is tough I love farming and one day I will venture into this business too. Thanks to farmers in Canada and the entire world because no farming no life.
The United States, Canada and Europa only have one crop per year, it would be better if it were like here in Brazil the use of seasons is 100%, the problem is the rulers! There was a time when were three harvests a year but, the ministry of agriculture prohibited, four months is very limited, our climate is good, excellent !!
Much of Canada and the USA are literally frozen for over half the year. The problem is not the rulers, it's the climate. Impossible to grow anything when it's -30°C and snow on the ground.
Breaks my heart. I grew up on a small grain farm, we had a couple cows, chickens, pigs and a garden big enough to feed a family of 6. Not herbicides, pesticides or fertilizers. Today fertilizers are killing the lakes and waterways, non essential processed carbohydrates (cereals), corn syrups and plant oils in our foods cause food addiction and chronic diseases. If it weren't for the development and marketing of breakfast food by Seventh Day Adventists to curb masturbation and the criminal Ansel Keyes not likely to be in the health mess we find ourselves in.
Bro search KIJIJI, you will find lots of jobs in your area. Also, consult the local employment agencies. No job is big or small. You need to be dedicated and you will get there.
It’s not good practice to have huge swathes of the same crop, the land needs to be planted with variety. Look at nature, different growth and varying terrain slows down the advancement of disease and damage by pests. Too much of one crop requires too much spraying of pesticides which in turn causes huge damage to the ecosystem.

Hello how are you
can u grow wheat in winter
No the ground is frozen and snow
yeah bro this country has so much water and good soil but they do not have enough months to grow good crops
@@bikramjeetbrar7470 that's not true either Canada produces great crops
i understand but in the cold months they can't which leaves farmers with low incomes
@@bikramjeetbrar7470 look up Mike Mitchell they seem broke huh
Did you know that canola take some nutrients out of the ground
Really? No way !!!
Every crop takes nutrients from the soil. The challenge for arable farmers is how to put those nutrients back.

Winter prevents that here

Is it true that Manitoba's government give free some farms to newcomers?
They often told me crime does not pay, but in Manitoba neither does farming
