What about dividing land into 25 -40 acre smaller regenerative ranches or market gardens that actually build soil and fix the water cycle? Permaculture
It probably went up $2,000 an acre since this came out in my area of western Canada. I think around this time it was about $2,500 an acre. Now 4500 to $5,000 an acre 3 years later. Absolutely insane.
As a person who wants to purchase a section of land in Saskatchewan, I look forward to learning the skills required to become a professional farmer. My hope is to lease some of the land.
we are migrating to canada and looking forward to buy a farm and do farming in Canada, my husband is a good farmer.we are now living in Uae and waiting for our parents to join us to migrate..
its not the acres that make it expensive its the building that are on it and the condition, size, etc and if the land is good or bad is another factor from me looking around and i noticed those things particular make the difference i know thats probably not the answer looking for,but hope it helps
@@eibbor171 I disagree. Example, 500 acres at $4,000/ac with no buildings is 2 million. Normal cash grain crop farming will not support that price. Young people wanting to start farming without inheriting need a good town job for many many years. Speaking from experience.

where I live anywhere from 40 to 100 acres. Depends how close they are to a city.
Probably around 640 ac's (one section) depending on soil and location.

Price without size why?
Mass invasion dictates land prices. May I suggest closed borders.
the next generation already can't afford farmland.
