Hey Craig, no wories about the video, it was still a good watch. Having stumbled across your videos from Simon a Bloke in the Woods, I love the insipration, to the point where I bought a cheap 1 man tent and spent the weekend in my backgarden without going back in doors, even when it dropped to -3 on Saturday night up near Diss. My Mrs thinks its a bit mad in that weather but I had a lot of enjoyment having the excuse of trying out some of the techniques I've picked up from watching your videos. Keep up the great work and I'll keep an eye out for you next time I'm sailing down the Orwell! ;)
@@EastAnglianBushcraft nice vid there any chance ya could take a catapult to nock down some greys squirel then cook them say at the Scottish Islands if you could cheers
Feel like I’m hogging the comments a bit but the Major oak had supports on the branches when I was a kid. I’m 63 this month. That’s one old tree, if only it could talk.
I live in the United States in ohio near a town called logan. Theres a cemetery that has an oak tree that is huge. You cannot begin to wrap your arms around it and theres limbs that go way out and touch the ground. Some of the limbs mush be almost 2 foot in diameter. I often wish it too could talk I know hands down it would defiantly have my full undivided attention 😃.
Craig hope feeling better Sorry 😞 not good illness Thanks for showing sherwood forest Your welcome to nottinghamshire anytime if ever in Newark sherwood Or just anywhere else you'd have my support 😍
Hi Craig , sounds like you have the Novovirus mate , look after yourself my Friend , lets hope that whoever finds Sherwood quickquiver is a good guy , or you may never see him again ! , Be Well my Friend , Strength ,Honour and Respect .
I always seam to be watching you at about 23:30 I wish my legs worked again so I could wild camp as you do . I do love your vlogs . Get well soon Craig …
If you ever come over to France there are a few decent beers in the north '(where I live) and Belgium... My favourites are: Jenlain Ambrée or Blonde or IPA La Goudale Ambrée or Blonde or IPA Le Ch"ti Ambrée or Blonde Les 3 Monts There are loads more, but these are my fav's.. most are bottled 75cl... but you can get 50cl cans too...
Great spot and a beautiful camp. A pity you got sick and had to bail, hoping you felt better quickly. Robin Hood's tree sounds (and looks) awesome, wish I was in England to buy you a Viking drink. 👍
Great Video and transmission Old Chap! Thanks for the Intel on ticks. Hope you feel better soon Old thing and get reunited with Sherwood 🤣🇬🇧💪 Tally-Ho Steve
Hi buddy....Its called life & sometimes in the reality this S**t happens which is why it was good you were honest enough to video til the end. Great little vid, keep keeping it real & look forward to seeing you smash the "Old El Paso" kit on the next one ha ha.
Noooo poor Sherwood. Hope you're reunited real soon. Even though you were poorly still a great video. Mighty Oak, not bad, sunk a few pints of it back in the day 💚
Dont feel bad for bailing dude, you can't help being unwell, it sucks! If I wasn't in Glastonbury without transport I'd be hunting old sherwood down right now. Hope you're feeling better soon man. Peace and love 💚

Cracking video craig, up my neck of the woods lol, Sherwood forest is a cracking place, if you go back, up near the visitor centre, across the road is a cracking shop, does amazing leatherwork ,custom stuff too, plus cool other stuff in there, definitely worth a look, you'd love it, the bivi hammock is a sweet quick rig, good health and safe travels my friend, cheers craig 🙏 🌿

I have one of those forest fundamentals pouches. Keep my fire making gear in it. Give it a coat of wax once in a while to keep it waterproof, nice little bit of kit
Proper video, proper problems encountered. None of this false, artificial "peril" that is apparent on other videos. Thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the fire making tips. Respect.
Great Video sorry you were unwell, I feel Thynghowe has a sacred burial ground up on the hill that was used for ritual as well as a main meeting place for the clans to get together. I think there maybe more than three graves. The sickness and headaches you felt were coming from the energy there, you seem like a sensitive soul that can pick up on these things.
Cracking video bro! Shame you fell ill didn’t change the fact we still loved this video 😅 hope you felt better not long after the visit! And what a place to go! 😍
Good to see that even though you had an open fire, you cleared it up and left no trace! Must admit not a fan of using open fires, unless on my own land. As for the Major Oak, I'm 60 now and when a kid remember the protective barrier not being there and was able to get inside the major oak and have that experience. Great video.
Great video! Being all Viking tatted I approve of the location lol😁. Cheers from nooby camper, practising my knots with my morning ☕️ and new subscriber from the Netherlands
