I guess Im asking randomly but does someone know a way to log back into an instagram account?? I stupidly lost my login password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me.
Thanks for the detailed video! Very much appreciated! I´m about to do this , too. After my lexus dealer gave me an estimate of 1200 bucks for both sides, i decided to give it a go doing it myself...
@@AirRideFanatic Hi, it went well so far. Two afternoons of work with the right tools. Had to go to a nearby garage to get the wheel hubs pressed out, because my 6to chinese shop-press was to small. I took them nearly an hour to do it...but they pressed out the outer bearing race too, which i didn´t asked for. Reassembling went nearly without hickups, but of course i forgot to mount one of the new brake disk covers before pressing in the wheel hub, so i had to cut it to get it mounted.
@@TINRFD I have a 15 ton press think its enough to get it done removal and install of the hub and bearing...? I'm kinda scared to do the job and midway find out I wont have the right diameter cup or plate to exactly press on the outer race of the new bearing for the install and also worried about pressing in the new hub and ripping the inner race of the new bearing out the back of the knuckle, ruining the new bearing... lol any thoughts ? thanks
I’m on my 4th 2GS. Don’t everrrrrrrrr do a wheel bearing on one without putting some kind of grease in there. Do not rely on the grease provided on the bearing. That is not sufficient enough.
what kind of grease is that white substance around the metal balls ? is that the original grease used by Lexus or is that the result of the original grease transformation over the years ? (so the original grease was not white? ), thanks
glad to see you close the gap with the brake pads at the end... most people don't do it... one thing tho.. I do it before lower the car cause sometimes when you lower the car down when the wheel makes contact with the floor it cocks it off center a bit and when you press the brake it isnt truly straight... great video... quick question... how many tons is your press ? thanks peace
Does anyone know the symptoms of a bad wheel bearing? My inner front tires wear out really bad I move the tire when on a jack stand and it has wobble. When I drive it; it makes this chirping screeching sound that the front tires emit. It's a lexus sc430.
bad bearing would be a droning sound that increases and decreases with speed... that chirping is most likely a warped rotor brake pad combo... when you change them, change them BOTH... or your hub could be bent
With a piece that rusty I'd just locate a better condition front bearing assembly at the junkyard, less work specially if you don't have something to press a bearing in

Thank God for this video, watched it so many times, took step by step notes, did it myself in my garage, everything went great!!
What a pita job for a wheel bearing

How'd it go... I am going to do the same!

@@TINRFD awww man! So pressing the bearing back in with your little press was no problem? Glad to hear though! GOOD JOB
@@AirRideFanatic No Problems there, just make sure the outer bearing race is fully pressed in.

Grease inside what and what would you use to put the grease in there I’m confused
Good job .better then some guy do like this on TH-cam. You are the best and detailed job.thank for your video
Why does Toyota INSIST on pressing wheel bearings in on everything? My tundra is like this too. Such a pain in the ass.
Good thing I saw this, thought it was weird I didn’t have a bearing, and now I gotta buy a charger for my impact
Can I just purchase a new knuckle with a new bearing and hub already installed and put bolt that onto the lexus?
I NEED THAT DUST CAP!!! I can't seem to find one anywhere.
You tried the junkyard? If not, your best bet is to buy a whole spindle(used) that still has the hubs on it.
Awesome video. Do you have one replacing the rear wheel bearing?
At 9:14 is it supposed to spin freely or like rough ??
Great video, my only question is - how do I know which side of the bearing is correct side to go in? Both sides look pretty much same.
what kind of grease is that white substance around the metal balls ? is that the original grease used by Lexus or is that the result of the original grease transformation over the years ? (so the original grease was not white? ), thanks
What’s the part number for that seal?

Bro😂
Part number for that seal?
Great work. DO we need to grease the bearing?
So does the hub spin with that much resistance new? I feel like my bearings are bad but I'm not sure
What about the rear ?
Is there a hub with pressed in bearing for diyers?
No. You'd still have to press in the hub with bearing into the spindle.
Outstanding work sir
Is this the same process for an LS400?
+Dylan We do not have a video for this repair right now, but we'll keep this request in mind for a future video! 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
From the factory abs ring comes with white lubricant on it. Shouldn't you put it too?
Well explained video...cheers
Great video!
Would a bearing press kit work?
have you done yours with a kit? removing and pressing a new hub?
Is there ANY hub bearing that spin like skateboard bearing......I mean spinning fast with almost no resistances???
not that ive ever seen
Gave up when the press came out

Inner tire wear says camber issue.
great tutorial!
Wow! Great Job!
Similar for a 06 gs 430?
Yes they’re the same suspension
I take it that this the same process as the lexus is300
yes
