I was stationed there on the USS Long Beach CGN9 from 1991-1993 before the Long Beach CGN9 went on it's final deployment before she was decommissioned. I loved San Dog kinda wished i would've stayed in a no reenlisted but oh well I got out May 1994.
I was on an LKA homeported out of San Diego, 32nd Street Naval Station 72/74. USS Durham. Do they still call it "32nd Street?" Passed under the Coronado Bridge many times.
Was stationed at 32nd St Naval Base on USS Cape Cod AD 43 and USS Kinkaid DD 965 1984-89
