- Today we have a good look at the DC Collectibles DC Universe streaming service exclusive Justice League Superman action figure. Unless the action figure fairy decides to pay me a visit with the rest of the action figures in the line I won't be reviewing any of the others. This one I just couldn't pass up so let's look together!

I think it's a pretty good figure. But 45 bucks is just ridiculous considering the fact that it has less articulation and 0 accessories. I hate scalpers.
It doesn't have less articulation than any of the other animated figures. But yeah, not including the "standard" turnaround stand and extra hands is ridiculous. These bare boned figures should've been like $17.99.
Being top heavy + ankles getting loose was something I was afraid of. Should get mine in by Tuesday or so. I did go ahead & order the two-pack with Lois from BBTS as well. It’ll be interesting what differences there may be and if they share the same difficulties.
This is my Superman! Love this figure! Painted belt loops are an improvement! Killer reveiw as usual!

so glad I am a DC Universe sub. I got this guy for $11.00 today for Cyber Monday. I wish they would go deeper into the line and give us Luthor and Darkseid. Thank you for this video Brad, before I pressed add to cart I came here to watch it and boom... instapurchase! Have a great day!
I wish they came with those stands when they first came out with batman animated figures
First time viewer. Have to say. Nice job on the video. Just the facts. That’s all I want out of an unboxing. I hate when people go on and on about there opinions on the figure. You do a nice job of just telling us everything cohesively. I’m so sick if seeing collectors like Shartimus Prime or Anthony’s Customs go on and on about there opinions. They are both so annoying. You’re great man. Keep on doing what you’re doing homie!
I have that figure and it’s pretty cool
I have never been a big fan of the Morphed figures. Great colouration and sculpting. The thin little ankles are....funny. I know this is based on the animated series, just don't turn my crank..kinda.

DC Collectibles figures are really going down hill with these QC issues and lack of accessories. He should have came with a stand. Unacceptable.
The articulation for toys now are so much better than when I was a kid
As a kid if the toy could move its elbows that blew me away lol
I have the Animated Series Superman & Lois Lane 2-pack and I love the fact that they both come with stands and like 4 pairs of hands for $50. Wish we could get an animated Darkseid, Brainiac, and Lex Luthor
I still have yet open mine. I’m excited about it though. I’ll end up painting the loops and it will be perfect!
This is a good figure. I had a similar figure to this and I really hope that Shazam will have better looking action figures like the Superman ones in the future.
45 bucks is too much! No accessories, no alternate head sculpt or alternate handd
For me it wasn’t because I won’t find it any cheaper. Remember, I couldn’t get this from DC Universe so this was it for me. I can appreciate the fact that some folks really want to see accessories and stuff for that price. If I lived in the USA I’d feel that way too but as it is I’m just glad I found one for well under the 85 to 90 I had seen a few at.
Great review! I love the focus on the figure itself and the close up shots without wasting time on anything else
The clamshell trays are a nightmare! Most especially when you have that soft vinyl cape through a slit of sharp edged plastic. It's like they go out of their way with trying to damage your figure. I wish more us companies would take a page from Japanese imports and just stick them in a loser fitting tray with a lid on top. No need for the twisty ties either..it's complete overkill.

I got the two pack Superman and Lois Lane figures from DC Collectibles based off of the Superman Animated Series.
Same here. I bought it last week from BBTS. Unfortunately, eBay prices are too high, so had to resort to BBTS. So now I'm going to have to play the waiting game and maybe get my set by the end of the month, if I'm lucky.
DC Essentials Superman still look very nice when compared to others... lucky I have one with me :)
The ankles are the owrst part on these figures. Both my TNBA Batman broke their feet very easily. The second one i bought as a replacement broke as soon as i tried to pose him
There are little button-like parts of the plastic bubble you can push in for easy release. Usually around each limb.
This thing should be worth $15 tops.

Is Superman made the Superman animated series version look tiny lol. Bruce Timm's art just got bigger and bigger! Oddly enough, Batman in this show didn't become super large.
They look so much like the JL toys I had when I was younger, but this have so much more articulation
He looks neat enough, but I can't say I feel too torn up to miss out on this. I love the Timmverse shows, but the proportions don't tend to make for great figures, usually, with the exception I guess of those high end BTAS ones of the last few years, and even that's not necessarily my aesthetic.
In so want a mezco superman really missed the boat on that, hence I will definitely get the magex hush superman.
They miss only the S symbol in his cape but its perfect..
Have you ever seen the short lived ruby spears Superman cartoon from the 80s? I was wondering if you had a favorite or ranking of the Superman cartoons.
Solid fig, nice review Brad.
I would like to know your opinion on this, but I think that the figure is a bit over-detailed.
The figure has so many sculpting details that is ends up losing resemblance to the actual design from the cartoon.
On that regard, I think that the 10" Justice League Superman from Mattel years ago better represents the JL Supes.
Besides, it is not quite proportional. The head should be larger.
I bought the DC Collectibles TAS Superman (similar, but cheaper and with a better sculpt IMO) and I will settle for it.
JL Superman is not worth it.

This Superman needs to concentrate on "leg day" at the gym, lol! Also looks like Darkseid smashed in his knees.
