How is this man this good at building bases, probably the most known base builder, the BEST builder but only has 66.7k i say we petition so he gets more subs but one day you should try to talk to some of the bigger rust youtubers like Welyn, ser winter, swales etc so you can join them in a server and be there base builder
Ive been a massive fan of the Little Toyko base design, but have realized that it is simply too cheap to raid with under 30 rockets to TC. This base design is definitely going to be my main design for the future. Thanks so much, Evil Wurst, simply a gem!
Thanks for the kind assessment. Please note that breaching the core of this base also "just" requires 30 rockets. It's really hard to make something that is more expensive in terms of offline raids AND has peek downs AND is affordable.
Seeing your building style evolve as time goes on is inspirational. How you constantly re-assess, re-evaluate, and modify your builds to fit the meta and incorporate things that used to be of niche use to create something well-balanced and masterfully crafted. One thing I've noticed is that your efficiency in explaining the build steps has gotten insanely good. It's a little sad knowing that, because of this, your videos will inevitably be shorter as a result. That being said, I really appreciate how succinct the build steps have become. I don't play much Rust these days, but your build videos always have me thinking, "Wow, that's a great design. I should try it next time." Thank you for always being a source of inspiration for the Rust building community.
Nice design. I was working on a similar thought. Four triangles as the center and then two squares coming off each side--you guys took it out one more step. Consider putting the TC on the second or third floor. No one expects it and it has saved our bases several times. Also, I strongly suggest having extra build/repair boxes on the second and third floors and in your outer builds. Boxes should have a hammer, TC and blueprint already made, extra wood, stone and metal frags and extra sections of outer wall to plug gaps during a raid. We also build an additional honeycombed 1X2 nearby to counter raid. Funny how folks rarely, if ever, expect it.
I actually love this base! it has been awesome to live in, it was difficult at first to build it because it is so confusing but after doing it once it is a breeze, keep up the good work!
Thank you for the shoutout given to aloneintokyo. Ive been following and watching him since last year when hjune gave him a shoutout. He is one of the best rust players out there in pvp build and mostly everything. Very skillful solo player. And a monster in groups.
A small idea you might like: using lanterns as low grade fuel storage. You can put them on boxes, so you can easy fit them in a lot of loot rooms. P.S. pls try to make a multi tc version of the original frustrator x. That will be epic.
still watch your videos for building inspiration to this day. Would love it so much if there was an EvilWurst comeback. Would be very interested to see what you'd carve out in this current building meta.
To anybody looking for a workaround much after the patch, raising the triangles that are on the 3 tips and leaving the space were the steps used to go empty leads to a pretty easy fix. If you cap the raised foundations off with half walls and a triangle roof on top, then a slanted & normal roof tile to connect it to the upper core and cover the gap once and for all. It can be tricky finding a spot that supports a footprint with the triangles raised on all 3 corners but once you do so it is pretty easy.
@@EvilWurst You can do it without raising, and I guess that works fine too, I just didn’t particularly like the gap it left in the corners of the base as the slanted roof would only cover the bottom layer of the base. Because of how the different sections of the base connected to different tcs work at the corners I couldn’t find any way to make the triangle taller then to raise the foundation. I think you could also use a combination depending on the landscape you might build on if it is to hard to raise particular corner triangles.
EvilWurst great video! I did a remake of ur aggravator which I have been using for 2 years now. I split it up in 3 tcs and made 2 floors of drop down for more loot room and confusion for the raiders
@@EvilWurst I used The Raptor as my the core, and since it's on your youtube, i disguised it with my own building techniques and it came out freaking ridiculously AMAZING. Used it on a trio server with 14 turrets, 1 week wipe, completely came out on top!
One thing i noticed about the base design is, that if the main TC is destroyed, then you cannot replace it again without destroying the 3 other tc's. Atleast that's what happend to our base. and we used this one. However, we managed to defend the base from being raided and lost nothing and gained a bunch more from the raiders. First time being onlined, was actually fun :D

I've come up with a better way to get perfect placement on the high walls. Delay the placement of triangle attached to the foundation stairs and build out 5 squares and place a triangle, put a TC on it and seal it. Leave one square on the triangle. After you have placed the first 6 high walls and you want to place the 3 "floater" walls in the middle, line up your wall on the foundation ( I found it easier to build twig out and put 3 square foundations so you can line up the wall easier) and center it on the external TC and walk out and place it right before the square on the TC blocks it. A bit tedious but it takes the guesswork out of the floater wall placement. I used stone walls. Also, I found horizontal embrasures might work better on the peeks for the gatehouses.
Sounds like a good way to increase the accuracy of the placement in exchange for a more tedious placement strategy, so it’s probably well suited for people with less experience in placing high walls
I've used tokyo's base for the past 4 wipes and I got offlined 4 times lmfao. And the raiders all knew the design they said. I don't understand how this man gets onlined every wipe
I always tell myself I'll build some of these bases and I never do mainly because I'm not patient enough or I just don't want to at the time and I hate myself for it because I'm not great at building so I end up making simplified versions of bases with mixed concepts
Hey Evil Wrust! absolutely love your vids man! Can you perhaps do a base for like 4-5 players? Idc about looks, I just want something with good storage and really strong. I like for example the "Joker" base, but I wanna see quite a nice design from you which is like 70-80 rockets if possible with maybe 200 HQM upkeep and around 10k metal? would love something strong because I am always offline raided second day lmao. we do server hop alot but still id like to comeback for once not raided
130 HQM per day is really cheap, even on vanilla. Just buy 10 solar panels at outpost for 750 scrap. They recycle for 13 HQM each. Doing this puts HQM at 5.77 scrap per HQM. Much better than the Bandit camp 16x at 7.5 scrap per HQM. Only do this if HQM is your bottleneck. This is the best price I can think of at the moment.

Online raids are about as common as a four leaf clover.
In my 1500 hours iv been onlined once. As a solo with a revolver with 4 bullets by a 4-5man full kit

I like for example the "Joker" base, but I wanna see quite a nice design from you which is like 70-80 rockets if possible with maybe 200 HQM upkeep and around 10k metal? would love something strong because I am always offline raided second day lmao. we do server hop alot but still id like to comeback for once not raided

130 HQM per day is really cheap, even on vanilla. Just buy 10 solar panels at outpost for 750 scrap. They recycle for 13 HQM each. Doing this puts HQM at 5.77 scrap per HQM. Much better than the Bandit camp 16x at 7.5 scrap per HQM. Only do this if HQM is your bottleneck. This is the best price I can think of at the moment.
