This is unfortunate , we all appreciate your hard work. , these bunkers are probably gone on Thursday . Their fix for this has been only roofs \walls of the same material will clip together , so it’s either a twig bunker or nothing .. I’m not a100% if it’s this wipe but that’s their fix for it .

i´d be very carefull with that. as boxes on vendingmachines tend to break when you add a buildingblock close to them. so opening the bunker would likely destroy those. haven´t tested it though
This is truly an incredibly well thought out base build.The fact that you stop them in their tracks from the roof with those heartbeat sensor turrets or from the side with the vending machine walls that will make them re-assess their entire approach of how they are raiding and waste many rockets or risk despawning a shit ton of loot is genius. At first it looks like a relatively simple raid from the side with rockets but that puts a big hamper on a raid. You can also close it up from the inside and repair the breach while hidden behind the vending machines when they are stalled re-assessing the raid.
You have no idea how perfect this base is for my playstyle. My friends and I all love Rust but all of us work and I also have school on top of that. 9/10 times when I get a chance to log on my base is usually fully offline raided. When I started using your Serenity build the problem became less prevalent, but offlines were still fairly common. I played around with the idea of multiple roof bunkers to spread loot rooms so that I don't lose everything when I get offlined, and the Tycho is the realized version of what I wished to create. The automated turret defense system on the roof and within the compound is the icing on the cake. Thanks again Evil for taking the time to share this with us.

At first I thought there was only like 4 sheet metal doors to one loot room but with the bunker shotgun trap and there being three it doesn’t bother me. Nice build wurst keep up the good base builds

For anyone having trouble with not being able to place the external TC's: Skip the step of placing the TC in the centre and instead to all the outer ones first. Then do the main TC after you have done all the outer ones. Full credit goes to @Mike Walsh for figuring it out.

Even as someone who doesn't really play rust, it's easy to see the sheer amount of work that goes into a base build like this. Everything is very well thought out and you've used quite a bit of imagination to make everything work well together! All this with a small child, too! Amazing!

This base is amazing!! We got raided 2 times! In the first time we was offline. The raiders lock themselves in the twig roof, and didn't get anything. Second time we defand online raid 3 VS 11 and win! Amazing base my favorite! Thanks
The base is fantastic there's little to no flaws the decor looks fantastic and personally I would add carpets and bear rags here and there to add to the comfort of the base. Although it doesn't support realistic progression during the mid-build part but other than that, this build is one of the cheapest multi-tc bases I have ever seen. Great job with your first 2021 base Wurst 👍. Can't wait to see more! :D

Thanks for the kind words. I found that people who claim that "building is stale" are just expressing their own lack of excitement. As long as we keep pushing the boundaries as a community, I doubt we'll run out of exciting things any time soon.
I have only one personal tip for your videos, when building the rooms and placing doors, etc; would be good to just build the final state of those rooms.. Less work for you, and for those of us who build while watching the video doesnt have to build twice the same thing xD (Specially for the ones who play modded sv where you have 2 times the resources to build and you can just build everything using metal and hqm). So, basically you can extend the footprint and add more bunkers, it's hard but my clan wanted a new base with these trendy bunkers, we use 6 bunkers, and we are studying to make it up to 9 bunkers. Just try to double everything that he does, it might take a while but it's well possible. I recommend trying it on a building server
This base is awesome, cheap to build, costly to raid, and no insanely difficult building techniques! I love it! Great base dude keep up the great work!
Hello Evil Wurst, Only one word: Masterpiece. I've been wondering for months how to integrate more bunkers into a base, here we have it. I like the fact that everything has a role in your constructions, which is exactly my play style. I also love to build and been watching your creations since I started playing, got 3k hours now. There is one thing that I would improve here, actually in any construction that runs turrets/electrical stuff. Sealing the battery, I don't know why people didn't see it. Seal the big battery in a triangle with all the splitters and a SMART SWITCH (connect it to your phone before sealing!), that way none of the electrical stuff can't be destroyed so easily and you could still be turning them on/off and refilling them/authorize new players. The only downside it would be to reconnect the turrets if they get disconnected or destroyed, but I think any base needs to withstand 1 raid per wipe (not actually true but after the first people usually know where to go). I implemented this idea since the smart switch update and it showed to be very very useful, hope to see it in the future builds. Till then, stay safe and continue to amaze us with your creations. ^^
@@EvilWurst Oh that one is easy, in that case just take the root combiners out of the sealed triangle. ^^ It's still less electric stuff to be destroyed.
Amazing build. My favorite so far. If you add some blockers (and some more power) to each of those hbhf setups you can make a really slick setup. You can wire the door controller power through the blockers, and feed the block input from the ammo out of the turret (*These will also all need 11 power for this to work) and now when the turret is out of ammo it will also no longer open the door preventing people from A. getting through that door and B. prevent your turret from being grubbed in the case of people just draining them. This was the best base design we defended 4 online raids and we lasted from. Starter to the end of wipe i will always use this base design in rust thank you
The Tycho is too strong! We got raided by a 12 man and they used 50 rockets in total and despawned the vending machines, gaining nothing back. Thank you Evil Wurst!
Evil I just had an online raid in this base we were trio but only two of us online they used 60 of their own rockets to get tc and our rockets then proceed to use our 40 rockets on the rest of the base they missed two of the bunkers and the one they got the vending machines broke, so thanks for the strong design
This is freaking beautiful, I found my new solo base. I was using InsanIT's Culpix for awhile, such an underrated base.. but I LOVE this base as it checks off many things I've tried to figure out myself. Big thank you!! Now back to Daddy Wurst!
i knew you were working on a base like this but based off only the tutorial i can say that this far exceeded my expectations. i'm really hoping that this base sparks a wave of smaller bases incorporating said bunkers. perhaps this is just the beginning.

Awesome base design, as always! I want to build it with a minicopter hanger on the roof, but it would mess up the auto turrets. Only way I can think of is to expand one of the roof access doors, using the 2x1 + three triangles adjacent to the core for hanger space, maybe keeping the turret behind the hanger and adding another one on top.
Yes, in earlier designs, we had a minicopter hangar. I believe that with 3 auto turrets, you can still cover the whole roof even if a hanger building is in the way.
hotdamn you're a genius even if you find these and expound on them...I've never wanted to main a base more and it's up-to-date and the bunkers work...just wow I wouldn't want to raid this shit...I am on a solo/duo server primarily so this has to be the best build I've ever seen in my years on rust.

You should definitely make a rust server, like a 2x vanilla or a plain vanilla! It would be awesome to see all of your base designs being built on the same server, it would truly be THE builders sanctuary.
I had one issue with this base. When I was building the shooting floor, one of the windows could not be placed because it was “too close to another building” it did that on the same spot all 3 sides, just one window. I did everything to a T on this build so I’m not sure why that wouldn’t place.
It happened to me aswell but instead of the windows it happened on the square floors of the shooting floors, I could only place 1 out of 3 saying it was "too close to another building" Any fixes? @Olivia Silva or anyone else?

quick tip for anyone building this: for more storage in the bunkers you can place small boxes on top of the vending machines. Hope this helps :)

So, basically you can extend the footprint and add more bunkers, it's hard but my clan wanted a new base with these trendy bunkers, we use 6 bunkers, and we are studying to make it up to 9 bunkers. Just try to double everything that he does, it might take a while but it's well possible. I recommend trying it on a building server
This base is awesome, cheap to build, costly to raid, and no insanely difficult building techniques! I love it! Great base dude keep up the great work!

Only one word: Masterpiece.
I've been wondering for months how to integrate more bunkers into a base, here we have it.
I like the fact that everything has a role in your constructions, which is exactly my play style. I also love to build and been watching your creations since I started playing, got 3k hours now.
There is one thing that I would improve here, actually in any construction that runs turrets/electrical stuff. Sealing the battery, I don't know why people didn't see it. Seal the big battery in a triangle with all the splitters and a SMART SWITCH (connect it to your phone before sealing!), that way none of the electrical stuff can't be destroyed so easily and you could still be turning them on/off and refilling them/authorize new players. The only downside it would be to reconnect the turrets if they get disconnected or destroyed, but I think any base needs to withstand 1 raid per wipe (not actually true but after the first people usually know where to go).
I implemented this idea since the smart switch update and it showed to be very very useful, hope to see it in the future builds.

@@EvilWurst Oh that one is easy, in that case just take the root combiners out of the sealed triangle. ^^ It's still less electric stuff to be destroyed.
Amazing build. My favorite so far. If you add some blockers (and some more power) to each of those hbhf setups you can make a really slick setup. You can wire the door controller power through the blockers, and feed the block input from the ammo out of the turret (*These will also all need 11 power for this to work) and now when the turret is out of ammo it will also no longer open the door preventing people from A. getting through that door and B. prevent your turret from being grubbed in the case of people just draining them. This was the best base design we defended 4 online raids and we lasted from. Starter to the end of wipe i will always use this base design in rust thank you

The Tycho is too strong! We got raided by a 12 man and they used 50 rockets in total and despawned the vending machines, gaining nothing back. Thank you Evil Wurst!

Evil I just had an online raid in this base we were trio but only two of us online they used 60 of their own rockets to get tc and our rockets then proceed to use our 40 rockets on the rest of the base they missed two of the bunkers and the one they got the vending machines broke, so thanks for the strong design

i knew you were working on a base like this but based off only the tutorial i can say that this far exceeded my expectations. i'm really hoping that this base sparks a wave of smaller bases incorporating said bunkers.

I want to build it with a minicopter hanger on the roof, but it would mess up the auto turrets. Only way I can think of is to expand one of the roof access doors, using the 2x1 + three triangles adjacent to the core for hanger space, maybe keeping the turret behind the hanger and adding another one on top.
Yes, in earlier designs, we had a minicopter hangar. I believe that with 3 auto turrets, you can still cover the whole roof even if a hanger building is in the way.

hotdamn you're a genius even if you find these and expound on them...I've never wanted to main a base more and it's up-to-date and the bunkers work...just wow I wouldn't want to raid this shit...I am on a solo/duo server primarily so this has to be the best build I've ever seen in my years on rust.

You should definitely make a rust server, like a 2x vanilla or a plain vanilla! It would be awesome to see all of your base designs being built on the same server, it would truly be THE builders sanctuary.
Hahaha, I'd love to! I doubt I'll have the time though, and I don't think it is easy to make a server stand out from the noise
I had one issue with this base. When I was building the shooting floor, one of the windows could not be placed because it was “too close to another building” it did that on the same spot all 3 sides, just one window. I did everything to a T on this build so I’m not sure why that wouldn’t place.
It happened to me aswell but instead of the windows it happened on the square floors of the shooting floors, I could only place 1 out of 3 saying it was "too close to another building"
Any fixes? @Olivia Silva or anyone else?
It might be that the large furnaces are too close to the base. They can prevent the placement of those square floor tiles
this has just taught me so much, can't wait to experiment with it!
