I'm really glad you found a fix for the classic problem of your main TC being destroyed. I used to have to go around with 9 explosive ammo breaking all the tcs, replace the main tc and then replace all externals. This left your base vulnerable for the entire duration of you replacing the TCs. Great video as always.
Fantastic! One minor nit: you can get a windmill onto two triangles, you don't need the third one. You can even place it onto the two from the edge of the two, no third temporary twig one needed.
Damn!! This amount of building skill in that base... mindblowing! We tried the retaliator last wipe, it was really nice but we found the internal peekdowns unnecessary. They are really nice but 4/5people likely dont need that amount of online protection. Im looking for a base around 35 rockets to TC with external peekdowns including a shooting floor. I think thats what most people need. The Frustrator X is a base more suited for 8 or more people. THe Hell maw being one of the bigger desing can fit 3 people maximum because of the lack of space. A Quad Base is the onlz thing missing. Basically between Retaliator and Hell Maw2
Seems you were not online-raided :) In the past, my team and I often used Das Bunker and added a shooting floor with external peeks. Maybe that can work for you

200 Abonennten ohne Video Challenge! The frustrator is actually quite cheap if you think about it, only issue is the HQM. My 4-man group built it last wipe without much farming. It survived an online raid against 8 guys, really worth the resource investment if you ask me. They used ~40 rockets and only got 2 main loot rooms, and we ended up winning due to the peekdowns and fortified TC location. It also should be noted I am taking about the “other” frustrator X, not the one showcased in this video
I’d like to see you make the smallest, highest loot storage, solo base incorporating most of your different techniques. I.E. a modded 1x2 thats 20 rockets to TC, with a drop down loot room, elevator entrance and online raid defenses. You know, for us rats out there that inevitably get caught and raided by the clans we screw with >:) something easy to hide but also defendable when we do get caught 😁
@@bomb7342 I personally use a modified Leech 2. Made into a 2x2 as the 2x1 was just a little cramped. Make sure to add a couple turrets for the upgrade tho

Built this base and got raided took two different groups and an abusive admin was in one of the groups took them a long time and cost them a lot still didn’t even get the drop off boxes at the top truly a good build
Can't wait to use this at the weekend when my server wipes. My groups been using the Original Frustrator Clan Version past few wipes and it's been insanly good. Hopefully this beast will perform even better. Only downside is it's gonna take a while for me to memorise the base but just shows what a beast it is. Also looking forward to having 20 turrets around the base like the old days.
The back of the external tcs have an exposed part of the wood foundation you can break, allowing a group to cut off tc privilege to the shell and possibly decay it if they wish to offline you and have enough time to wait
@@EvilWurst There is a small corner of the wooden triangle in the external TCs that can be destroyed on the side away from the base with explosive rounds. If you add 3 more metal triangles on the back it will solve the issue.
Evil Wurst it depends on which foundation you snap the wood foundation to I believe. The wooden triangle will peek through if snapped to the wrong part of the external tc
@Evil Wurst so i just found out that u need to be above the roof ramp when you place the boxes, having the ramp top pint twards you above it. I am able to place the boxes btw. Ps. Thank you for commenting on my comment, ur base builds mean alot to me
We have raided this base and it was easy to disconnect all the outer tcs, since the wooden foundation is sticking out. You can easily shoot it from outside. Make sure to place at least some foundations on the back.
Amazing design Senor Wurst. I still use the frustator v2 with some improved honeycomb and the 3 exterior tc. Always start with Mini Fort 2 with allowed me to kill ak kit guys ;) Thanks for the designs. Keep up the great work senor...

Hi mr Evil Wurst. I just found that there is a big flaw in the external TC design that you don't mention. If you have multiple external TCs going into you base, like you present on the video, raiders only need to destroy one to get building access to the raided base end grief it. The important part here, is that they need to destroy the TC and put new one on the building blocks that were built FIRST (the oldest foundation matters). The TC that is put on the oldest block, takes precedence before others.
Zedge and I made some intensive tests on that matter a few weeks ago. You are correct, the privilege of the TC that sits on the oldest foundation gets prioritised over the building privilege of TCs on newer foundations. In this base, the foundation of the core TC is the oldest, meaning that this TC's privilege will be prioritised over the privilege of the external TCs. However, raiders cannot replace the core TC, hence they don't get this advantage easily. I am not sure how this is wrong or a flaw. Any other outcome seems worse
@@EvilWurst To me the problem is, that even though you might have 3 external TCs placed, if raiders want to grief you they just need to be lucky and get access to the first one you built to be able to grief you after the raid. This makes it more important to make the first external TC more tanky than to make more of them.
And yes, they can't replace the TC in the main if there still are external TCs around, but they can build in main if they get access to the first external TC (oldest), meaning they can grief you badly.

So I raided this base last night, I’m an amateur raider. Ended up costing about 7 C4 and 35 rockets. They had a lot of doors open. I can confirm this base is a fucking pain to raid, but it is essential to have auto turrets on the roof. You can land on the roof without being shot at / being shot at very briefly. The electrical setup could be moved / guarded better. MAKE SURE YOU WALL OFF YOUR TC / LOOT ROOM AREA !
@@EvilWurst Just too fucking often man! I mean, when I see the footprint of the base, me and my buddy are like: "Oh shit! We're outta here!". With this new adition of the slanted roof to segment even more an already hella op lootroom, it's not even worth going straight through walls. Because you'd have to spent 19+ rockets to get some loot(armored wall + R.G.W), but you can't get what drops below the room. Meaning you'll have to blow up the metal wall, Making it TOO FUCKING EXPENSIVE. 23 ROCKETS TO GET A BOX OF WEAPONS! BULLSHIT MAN! BULLSHIT! Thats over 33k Sulfur! People are storing the goodies inside the slanted roof or even in a box with the TC and that is a minimum of 34 rockets!
One Thing you can do is root combine the power from the windmills. split the power between the two batteries then root combine the power from the batteries and power all the turrets from that source. If the windmills are broken or either battery is broken the remaining battery will still power everything for a time.
How much time do you spend thinking about these designs? even having the frustrator core (which i guess took a lot of time) adding every single detail and making it fit, especially with the multiTC feature looks pretty much impossible to me even if i had a couple of months to think about it. You're just amazing
New to building so I dont quite understand everything 100% but I've seen a few other bases use similar concepts and say using square foundation's instead would work too. Is that not the case here? P.s. thanks for your work here, your very talented and your vids help a lot!

Another excellent base, thanks EW. My one concern (and maybe its an unnecessary one) but it seems that the upper floors expand out relatively closely to the perimeter of the walls - would this make it susceptible to twigging in? I know that anyone that can afford the entire shebang with all the turrets etc will probably have at least one further ring of walls, but just speculating

Awesome video bit when i go to place down the boxes on the roof it wouldn't let me place a box down, it said somthing about the angle of the box in chat kinda like the "not enough room" text. It mostlikly is just the server im playing on or a wall is in the way but i followed the vid step by step

What is the difference between Sheet Metal and Armored Metal? I would assume Cost and More Rockets to destroy for Armored Metal over Sheet Metal. A few times you say use Sheet Metal here and Armored there but I can't see why short of upkeep costs. Your videos are very informative and I can't wait to get to a Build Server to try these puppies out...
Armored walls are roughly twice as strong as sheet metal walls. For example, it takes 8 rockets to break a sheet metal wall and 15 to break an armored wall

@evil wurst Thnx for the basedesign. You place traingles outside to pretect from splashdamage. I was building this base and found that the wooden triangle that connect the outer tc to the inner sticks out in the back. you can easily destroy it with 1 rocket or even with melee weapons. Maybe i did something wrong but tried to pay attention to your build. Best regards

The funny thing is, I experimented with such disconnectable external TC designs already in 2018, but I never bothered to design one for me bases.

Something I found out u can use carpet for nice peek downs and u can’t stack a lot of them on top of each other so it’s not easy to break

So I raided this base last night, I’m an amateur raider. Ended up costing about 7 C4 and 35 rockets. They had a lot of doors open. I can confirm this base is a fucking pain to raid, but it is essential to have auto turrets on the roof. You can land on the roof without being shot at / being shot at very briefly. The electrical setup could be moved / guarded better. MAKE SURE YOU WALL OFF YOUR TC / LOOT ROOM AREA !

@@EvilWurst Just too fucking often man! I mean, when I see the footprint of the base, me and my buddy are like: "Oh shit! We're outta here!". With this new adition of the slanted roof to segment even more an already hella op lootroom, it's not even worth going straight through walls. Because you'd have to spent 19+ rockets to get some loot(armored wall + R.G.W), but you can't get what drops below the room. Meaning you'll have to blow up the metal wall, Making it TOO FUCKING EXPENSIVE. 23 ROCKETS TO GET A BOX OF WEAPONS! BULLSHIT MAN! BULLSHIT! Thats over 33k Sulfur! People are storing the goodies inside the slanted roof or even in a box with the TC and that is a minimum of 34 rockets!

One Thing you can do is root combine the power from the windmills. split the power between the two batteries then root combine the power from the batteries and power all the turrets from that source. If the windmills are broken or either battery is broken the remaining battery will still power everything for a time.
That's a good alternative!

How much time do you spend thinking about these designs? even having the frustrator core (which i guess took a lot of time) adding every single detail and making it fit, especially with the multiTC feature looks pretty much impossible to me even if i had a couple of months to think about it. You're just amazing

New to building so I dont quite understand everything 100% but I've seen a few other bases use similar concepts and say using square foundation's instead would work too. Is that not the case here?

Thank you Devin. Unfortunately you won’t be able to place square foundations in place of the foundation steps. Thus, the needs to be considered as patched

My one concern (and maybe its an unnecessary one) but it seems that the upper floors expand out relatively closely to the perimeter of the walls - would this make it susceptible to twigging in? I know that anyone that can afford the entire shebang with all the turrets etc will probably have at least one further ring of walls, but just speculating
I am not quite sure what exactly you mean by twigging in and the upper floor being close to the perimeters of the walls.

@@EvilWurst I remade the base without the foundation steps and it still worked do you think it will still work in the upcoming patch or do you think it is just completely doomed? (Like do you think the lack of foundation steps make the base not worth building because of lack of protection to the bottom of the loot rooms?)

Awesome video bit when i go to place down the boxes on the roof it wouldn't let me place a box down, it said somthing about the angle of the box in chat kinda like the "not enough room" text. It mostlikly is just the server im playing on or a wall is in the way but i followed the vid step by step
Also it might be a bitch to but it would be awesome if u made gameplay videos as well alongside with ur build/tip videos (this would be awesome, if ur not able to do that i under stand but still, that video of u testing the frustrator, u looked loaded and i bet u had a lot of fun)
The box placement can sometimes be very tricky. Did you use carpets as suggested?

Your builds are allways epic, ave used variouso nes over the past few wipes. Quick question, whats the purpose for bear rugs on the ceilings?
The bear rugs increase the comfort level, which in turn allows you to heal up if your avatar has eaten enough food (more than 100 points on that scale)
What is the difference between Sheet Metal and Armored Metal? I would assume Cost and More Rockets to destroy for Armored Metal over Sheet Metal. A few times you say use Sheet Metal here and Armored there but I can't see why short of upkeep costs.

Armored walls are roughly twice as strong as sheet metal walls. For example, it takes 8 rockets to break a sheet metal wall and 15 to break an armored wall
@@EvilWurst Ok, but why only use Armored in certain areas? Seems to me you'd want to use it as much as possible or is Armored not as needed in some areas?
This is a great base I used it in a 3 x and it lasted the whole wipe great job👍

Great build but suggesting to leave those triangles for outer parts is asking for trouble in high pop. If i saw those i would put my own tcs on them

@evil wurst Thnx for the basedesign. You place traingles outside to pretect from splashdamage. I was building this base and found that the wooden triangle that connect the outer tc to the inner sticks out in the back. you can easily destroy it with 1 rocket or even with melee weapons. Maybe i did something wrong but tried to pay attention to your build. Best regards

Dude I honestly want to see @evilwurst play a wipe with his designs with different people. He's such a great builder and I'd really want to see you play out your base and play wipes. But I love your vids and I'm always using your designs and improvising them to my needs.
