thomas hewitt I know you have probably mentioned it.. but how much would the total project cost for a consumer ever piece. Roughly?
Also assuming labor was done by consumer and had all necessary tools
I think you could get it done for 10 grand but that depends a lot on where and how you acquire the drive train.

Truly amazing! Many places here in Ontario Canada and in the US too where this type of boat can be used. This light weight compact design works very well in shallow water with minimal draft!

no really its just patch panels and a welder i have a aluminium skiff with a chevy 350 that was jet powered i used to punch holes in i would go home and patch it up and be back out that day
I am debating on building a plywood an glass , design , just wondering how it would compare . Won’t be bumping into any rocks in Florida

Good job on the building project and awesome skills on the welding and construction (way past my skills anyway). Wonder if this could be made in a 14 foot length for my fat American backside and what the cost would be to get one to the USA. I think this would go over well here and have a great demand especially with a nice stainless roll bar behind the driver 's head. send mean email when you have time.

Price range (completed) can run from $8k US to $15k US. Prices will all depend on your "vision" & if you will DIY or have someone do it for you. In New Zealand, which is where this is, you can get these kit sets for under 5k off of trade me or even a complete for near that price the boats are not too dear for what they are

Maybe try adding a UMWH skid plate like we use in Canada... its a little extra weight but can take direct hits at speed to granite!

I realize this is a dingy, but what about something a little bigger that can be more useful , maybe a couple ft longer and little wider ? Now that would be a kick. This one is fun but not very comfortable, I can see that. Kudos for building this.
Looks prime to put a cargo cage and some camping gear on it to get you up the river to your fav spot.

that thing must go thru allot of wear rings and impellers. the grate spacing was pretty small but even a decent amount of sand will trash the wear ring and an impeller.
Damn that thing is cool.
Yeah I love it but would ask for a padded roll cage with a 5 point harness and killswitch quick release system for wipeout and roll overs :)
