Thanks for adding to my reading list. Your knives look great. Thanks for a video that shows the beauty of well made tools. I don't own a push knife, now I want to make one with deer antler!
I honestly feel from what I've been thru if you have a true friend you're very lucky. I'm 56 and lost the only true friend I had a couple years. Moral of the story is if you have a friend you can rely on at any time appreciate them. The older you get the more you realize slot of those so-called friends aren't really. They're just there when THEY need something. Another great video. Thanks

I lost a true friend 6 years ago, we worked together and would fish, deer hunt and make some great smoked sausage. He left me some knives, fishing lures and 3 deer slugs. I used one of them to fill my freezer last week and I know he was smiling down on me.
Wow such an beautiful craftsmanship it was back in old days, you really appreciate what they left behind, I wish the quality could continue for the new generation so they could pass on to their families, but like you said earlier once in the blue moon one of this will pop up, I will look forward for those books from Levine. Thanks for your valuable insight Dwayne ❤❤
Funny this popped up on my feed. Recently, I’ve been resurrecting old tools that my dad had in his basement that came from his family farm in Smethport, Pa. These tools probably were my great grandfather’s honestly, but at least my grandfather who fought in WW1. Most of them such as the adjustable wrenches, pipe wrenches, hand drills, hammers, lanterns etc, were so rusted some couldn’t function. I’ve spent many hours in the garage getting all of them freed up, cleaned of rust, etc. Every tool was MADE IN THE USA🇺🇸👍🏼. I’ve rehandled sledge hammers, axes, picks, etc. I burn the wood on some to age it like the tool. I could go on and on, sorry. 😊
@@BladesRKing hey Brother. That’s Awesome. Nothing better than bringing Gramps tools and such back to life👍 lotta labor involved for sure. Thanks for sharing!
My phone wouldn't let me comment on yesterday's video so this pertains to yesterday's: Dwayne have you read about the Mapuche warrior Galvarino, the Spanish captured him and chopped his hands off to set an example ,they delivered him back to his general of the Mapuche army , Galvarino told his fellow warriors to attach blades to his wrists then planned out an attack on the Spanish, amazing story ! . And I can't wait to see the new blade your planning , naming musical instruments after heros is a extremely honorable thing ! Great idea to pay homeage !

Handcrafted by skilled and dedicated artisans who truly respected the traditions of knife and tool making. I have a collection of Sheffield knives, and they are wonderful examples of the cutlery industry. I own a Rodgers lock-back, with stag scales and single spear point blade. When closed it absolutely makes an attention getting thump rather than a weak click. Made circa 1900 and possesses lots of machismo!

That Diston handle is gonna come in handy down the road. You will find a good blade with a broken handle. You can try to trace it and make your own but you know a 32s off center and it will cut like crap to the L or R
The poem "Stille Nacht" or "Silent Night" was written by a young priest and first performed as a carol in 1818 during Christmas Eve Mass at a small parish church in what is present day Austria. It was performed with an accomptement of "acoustic guitar" as the church organ had been damaged due to the flooding river. Perhaps with Christmas Eve almost upon us and in keeping with the theme of the "Golden Age", maybe i could persuade you to grace us with a rendition on the guitar. God Bless and watch your top knot.
@@anthonysarni2207 thanks for sharing that incredible history my friend ❤️ I can and will do that👍 I put together a instrumental version of Silent Night years Back! Look for it. God Bless. Dwayne
Imagine the stories that violin and its accompanying slippy could tell… What would you call the stag Sheffield - a dagger, Arkansas toothpick, arming dagger?
@@Walkingman.45 thanks for sharing walking Man’. The little Sheffield would properly called a Dirk’ or a very small Bowie. It is an unusual one in that it is made exactly like many large Stag Sheffield Bowie’s only 1/2 size.

@@bugsbunny3488 thanks for sharing. Appreciate you sharing . But I have to disagree.
