Review of Rapesco 626EL stapler

This stapler could not be easier to use. Simply connect the supplied USB cable, insert papers to be stapled, it whirrs momentarily then the papers are smoothly stapled and can be withdrawn - all taking about 1.5 seconds at most.
The stapler has a wholly plastic build, feels quite chunky at 13cm long x 5cm wide and 8cm tall but with a compact footprint and firm non-slip rubbers pads on its feet which ensure it sits securely on the desk. Pressing a grey button on its reverse releases the staple tray, which arrived part-filled, for topping up from the box of 26/6 staples supplied. Push it back in and it's ready to go. It can either be powered via the USB-jack cable supplied or 4 x AA batteries and works well on rechargeable batteries.
While a stapler isn't the most exciting purchase ever, I really like this for its simplistic ease of use and smooth stapling without a single mis-fire. It's only for light-duty use for up to 15 sheets of A4 and its compact size restricts stapling to one position only, ie 6mm from the edge of the sheet but for most home or small home-office jobs, this should do the job perfectly and effortlessly.
