Oh another thing I noticed which reminded me of myself: Being super dressed up for no reason other than to flex how "grown up" or "dapper" you were (not an insult, just a fact). Now that I finished college and started working I dress way more casual that I had in my early 20s when I went to college.
But to be fair: Your suit jackets were always on point in these fits even if the rest wasn't so respect for that. If I look back at my old pictures I only see skinny lapels and it makes me cry.
Great Video as always! Love these kind of videos showing that this process of finding your own style is always evolving, definitely made me feel a lot better about the more painful menswear mistakes (although nothing will ever be as bad as an assassin's creed inspired AliExpress hoodie, god that thing was awful)
Incidentally I found old photos/videos of myself just last night and was eyerolling my way through them. Thanks for this video, it was a good chuckle (laughed pretty hard at 14:10 and nearly woke the baby up!). But for a lot of the outfits I see a lot of potential in them, and I agree with another commenter, would love to see you upgrade some of them with your current wardrobe! - Han

From what I can see you have done the same as me, you used everything you have. The interchangeable waldrobe, but you don't have enough so you just keep using the same shoes for example.
I was when I started the black or blue suit jacket with the graphic tee underneath with jeans.... Ahhahaha.
I have a dark green cord safari jacket with a belt, it has been compares to a bath robe too. But I love it, I know I should of gone brown cord but I loved the green.
Glad to see that I made a lot of the same mistakes when I first got into #menswear and got inspired by all the basic IG guys and TH-camrs. Loud patters, weird combinations and too many accessories were just a few of them. Now I'm completely different and dressing very understated on a "if you know you know" basis, but for me it's almost gotten boring. So I'm very glad I found your channel you make me wanna get out of my comfort zone and dress even better. Because now I think I'm between a 6 and an 8 and it's bothering me personally.

Yeah, the blue shirt and the blue shoes match too much, IMO. It's noticeable in a bad way, alone as part of another outfit? great.
25:00 Yes, too matchy matchy, because of how glaring the primary blue is. Different case if there's a third color in the outfit. Something sand or cream?

Your Instagram page is meant to teach others but it's pretty much guaranteed to be cringe to you since it's documenting your process of learning as well as teaching. The people that are scared to embarrass themselves also never learn from that embarrassment and therefore never grow. I feel the same way about old posts of my art from 5 or 6 years ago on Instagram. It's emberassing but also a sign of growth.

Personally, I think that a Cartier Tank would fit your style far better than a Royal Oak or Rolex homage. A rose gold Cartier with a glossy black Alligator strap would probably look killer with your outfit in this video.

3. Your trouser game has come a really long way.
4. I can see a clear shift of your attitude from the pictures, the old ones I get a vibe of "look at me, look at me!" but the latter pictures I can see a the passion for the clothes, it's comes off as elegant instead of cheap.
