  • "This is just a cash grab to get money from London drivers!"
An SDP London will end Sadiq Khan's war on motorists.
As Mayor, Amy Gallagher will end the ULEZ tax and ensure LTNs are only instituted democratically, through consultation, and on a small scale.

Bloody hell, there is no "war on cars"... Good public transit and cuts in parking infrastructure make cities FAR better places to live - and, if anyone from the SDP is reading this, I'd recommend taking a few minutes out of your day to go take a look at small organisation "Strong Towns" is saying! Want a real world example? Go visit Amsterdam!

@@alexander92179 Yeah, exactly my point. Public transit is for the people. Cars are expensive, privately-owned, and serve as a huge barrier for those looking to get out of poverty in the US...

The ULEZ moaners give me a Laugh, you have a bus stop within a 10 min walk of 90% of London homes, Buses at an average daytime frequency of every 15 mins or more, Long frequent trains/tube lines right across London. Cheaper fares then the rest of the uk (I live in Norwich, If I wanted to travel from Norwich to Diss, A compairable distance to Baker Street to Rickmansworth, A 1 way fare would be £10.10 Off peak on an every half an hour train that is only that frequent because it goes on to where, London. Alternatively you could get the bus which currently costs £2, but would Normaly cost £5.50, but that only runs 5 TIMES A DAY. For context the Baker street to Rickmansworth train costs £4.70 and runs at least every 10 mins.) So Londoners, Quit moaning because you've got it good, suck it up and get public transport, or pay the high tolls,.
