She can request for a clarification in front of the ethic committee again , and not in parliament. It was decided by the then parliament for her to appear in front of ethic committee. And after observing her rude behaviour and non cooperation she was suspended. A CBI enquiry is on. That is the end of it.

I agree with present and previous speakers that member who is being expelled, has got opportunity to defend and to put explanation before enquiry committee and hence, can not be given another opportunity to defend or to say once again the same thing as that will again initiate debate leading to wastage of time. This will also lead to expression of nontrust on enquiry committee findings. If expelled member wants, that member is free to approach civil court.
As far as Mahua Moitra is concerned, she has an excellent opportunity to file a defamation case against this BJP MP Dubey. This evidence has no reliability in front of the court and parliament procedures, but her claims against the BJP guys are very strong for asking underbelly questions against a lady member.
