my cart had lights already but they are vary old the rear lights are mounted vertically and smaller than the new lights. Is it possible to mount the new tail lights vertically so the old holes are enlarged and used. it looks to me that should but the left and right replacement tail lights may need to be swapped.
To answer my own question . Yes you can mount the tail lights vertically just swap the the right and left lights use the template for the left on the right with the top out from the center of the cart then flip the template for use on the left.
You did not tell in the video to flip over the template, front and rear from driver side to passenger side. This is very important. Even the instructions that come with the kit does not say to flip over the rear template.

I thought you are supposed to use a 48 volt to 12 voltage reducer not to strain just two of the batteries.

There should be wires for the light pull to turn off and on. Didn’t see that being connected in video.
Doesn't tell any about checking properly. Did this & lights stay on no matter what I do
