- Sky News host Gabriella Power has been reduced to tears when shown footage of a woman in a cat mask hissing at the camera.
The footage shows a woman in a cat mask hissing at the camera, in response to the recirculated footage of JD Vance’s ‘childless cat ladies’ remarks.
“I don’t even know what to make of that,” Ms Power said.
Pointing out the facts is not being racist. She is Indian…that is a fact.

There’s a public statement made by a friend of Kamala’s father who said her dad was Indian (although he called himself Caucasian actually), raised in Jamaica, learned in British run schools and moved to Canada with his new wife, who was also Indian.
When they moved to Canada, the forms were filled out incorrectly with “nationality” being answered with “Jamaica” instead of Indian as they thought that meant country of origin.
Her father is Indian. Her mother is also Indian. Kamala is Indian, raised in Canada, not “da hood”.

I mostly agree with what you're saying, but I don't think privilege is the issue. Black women, such as myself, are not what's represented in the media, but there are plenty of us out there. The difference is that we don't identify with, or help perpetuate the ghetto culture and degeneracy that Hollywood/ the music industry pushes. However, what Black people do is not preserve our culture and allow everyone to infiltrate it. Today Kamala wants to identify as Black, but she's not, she is biracial. Similarly, there are also white and Indian (and probably other) Jamaicans. Don't assume that all Jamaicans are black, descended from Africans. Harris's father is half Indian and half Irish (white), her mother is an Indian from India. It makes Harris 3/4 Indian and 1/4 white. Where do you think she got her very Irish surname from?

All the more true, if a gender alignment surgery (and it will not be one, or even five, likely you can double this - with all costs and complications!!!) could be used as *an argument to transfer the appellant to a prison dedicated to the opposite sex* (I assume that this only is an issue brought up by M2F, I do not recall ever hearing this from a F2M...).
Not every person believing to be born in the wrong body really needs to undergo the traumatic and painful multiple surgeries to live a fulfilling and successful life. Every surgery leaves you with scars, internally and externally, and errors can happen, as not every patient has the same prerequisites, and even surgeons are only human after all - you have to trust me that I know both sides, and it is not pretty or painless.
In our present day there are so many ways available to acquire the necessary attire/ enhancements to sucessfully pass as the opposite sex, sensibly priced and no questions asked. Gone are the times of the shamefully hidden "discrete" packages containing adult content catalogues - everything is readily and even anonymously available online.
I am convinced that the majority of gender dysphoric persons already have come to this sensible and painless conclusion, and without much ado to their benefit use the available measures to just live their lives peacefully, like everybody else who also tries to get by on a daily basis.
Whoever really INSISTS on surgeries or multiple procedures, may have another severe problem - *dysmorphophobia* is a real thing, and no amount of surgically altering their appearance will help the suffering individuals, because with this condition, *nothing is ever enough* .
Surgeons are medical professionals who normally swore an oath to do no harm and who should sometimes *step in to protect the patients from themselves* , if needs be - but there is *mucho moolah* to make with *allegedly informed and consenting patients* who undergo procedure after procedure.
Sometimes it can *become addictive* (just like tattoos, or colon hydrotherapy of all things, as I was baffled to learn many years ago...), and if one of the (IMO wrongly!) entitled convicts "suffers" (I can't find better words, but because the afflicted persons are willing to endure any amount of pain connected with their coveted procedure, I struggle with the term "suffer") from the disorder just elaborated, then *the costs for the health system forced to pay for a convict's IMO delusion can swiftly skyrocket.*
*The money spent on this one person will not be available* to e.g. help pay cancer, or diabetes, or cardiovascular treatment *for several or even many other patients,* who likely equally can not afford the treatments, even with health insurance. IMO there have to be created *priorities* , even if under the current circumstances my opinion is not popular.
Under normal conditions a gender alignment therapy is a nice-to-have amenity, and not immediately dealing with life threatening circumstances, in contrast to medication for a plethora of other chronical health conditions, like e.g. otherwise not treatable cardiovascular hypertension, a hereditary or acquired tendency for blood clotting, kidney failure due to infectious or hereditary conditions, the aforementioned diabetes with complications in all organ systems, if untreated, or chronic rheumatism, which besides the extremities also can damage internal organs over time, if untreated.
*The medications needed to treat those illnesses/ conditions are in their majority often scarce and/ or expensive, and the compulsion to buy them regularly, and sometimes life-long, to be able to just survive creates a genuine poverty risk for afflicted patients.*
Every life is equally valuable - but if one person is allowed to consume the complete amount of money which could heal or help many other persons to adjust better to their ailments, then *I can not say that I find this ethical* - even more so, if the appellant already has shown contempt for societal norms by committing criminal actions, leading to imprisonment.
*Such preferences/ precedents would send all the wrong signals - what if some disturbed person commits a crime to go to prison, and then demand a gender alignment surgery otherwise out of their reach?*
I do not want to contemplate all cans of worms which could be opened here, or bore the esteemed reader any longer (I again wrote too much to be taken seriously, I know, but for me as a medical professional this topic raises all my bristles!).
