Thats why Nissan should’ve kept building their Titans this could’ve been a chance for them to gain followers from the hemi loyalists who wanted to keep a V8 vroom croom

Say it louder! Don't think the big wigs at Stellantis heard you... totally correct in the assessment of the American truck buyer. A loyal bunch when they are used to a particular thing. Ford found that out, GM saw what happened to Ford and kept their v8 for their loyal fans. But Stellantis, major boo boo. Offer both as a choice till mopar people catch on to the newer motor and feel comfortable with it.

One reason people like Fords are their service departments. And there are never any warranty fulfillment issues. Bumper to bumper, means bumper to bumper. Stellantis sucks.

Huge differences between a V6 and an inline 6. Aside from turbos and # of cylinders, they’re entirely different. There’s a lot of great inline motors, and there’s a lot of great V8’s. The 3.5 ecoboost is a lot different than Toyotas 3.5 twin turbo v6 even though they appear to be the same thing at a glance.

If anyone was an auto producer. Would you pay fines in emissions control? No. So eventually all makes will be doing away with V8’s. So we all need to get used to it. I love my Hemi and won’t give it up. But they will be extinct soon. Simple economics. Get people to chip in for the fines and pay…. Then continue to make them then. My thoughts.

what you pay in fines is nothing vs what you lose in sales, once a buyer leave your brand they go for 5 or more years

Gm and Ford both have EV programs that mean they can still offer V8s and not pay fines or buy credits. Have you ever seen a BEV at a CDJR dealer? Gm's EV program is strong enough they can offer a 668 hp V8 in a Caddy.
