🏆Do you think the 2025 Frontier has the potential to shake up the competition? 🤔 🔴6 Reasons Why You SHOULD NOT Buy Ford Ranger! WATCH HERE! 👉 th-cam.com/video/nBnvH_DYbFk/w-d-xo.html
Manufacturers need to stop listening to critics who only care about how much tech the truck has and how modern it is. Start listening to the consumers who want a traditional simple vehicle without all the excessive tech
Nissan needs more direct input from consumers. I bought a Frontier and never received aJD power or any opportunity to rate the truck. Not only engineers in another country (cheaped out on headlights, telescoping wheel, grab handle on drivers side, did they really cost that much?) And not only car reviewers who strain out gnats and fawn over tech but sometimes overlook things important to customers (reliability and operating costs).
I don’t know who wrote this video but the interior of the current Frontier is the best of all midsize trucks. Everything where it should be and not drowning is unnecessary tech.
Well that all sounds terrible. I love the simple interior; I love the aggressive external of the current model. I hope Nissan doesn't shoot itself in the foot. A large touch screen with functions buried in a menu are a terrible idea Don't make the same mistakes as all the other manufacturers
Happy to hear you can get a real truck bed and not those ridiculous 5 foot stump beds. Please don’t put a CVT transmission in it. I’ll never buy a vehicle with one.
I drive a 2011 Nissan Xterra Pro-4X that actually has genuine leather seats, that are extremely comfortable. It's just a Frontier with an SUV tailgate. I don't need a pickup truck. It's old, but it's low mileage. Until vehicle manufacturers start listening to what buyers actually want, I'll continue to put money into my reliable, gas guzzling Xterra!
Well, I like physical buttons when it comes to the HVAC, heated seats, and think that's a good call. Now those in the new Frontier are another story. They feel like they cam right out of the 1990's. So, I'm happy to hear they will be redesigned. The seats are what's keeping from going with the Frontier now. And two thumbs up for Nissan keeping that 3.8L NA V6.
A posh interior?!? They are killing it. The thing that makes the frontier great is that Nissan basically followed the Toyota Hilux design style. It's rugged. I do not want soft leather seats. That's for girly men. Maybe it will be a big seller in San Francisco
Nissan did a face lift for the first and second gen Frontiers. Nice to see they are sticking to that tradition! Hopefully they don't over complicate the truck with all these changes though. As the owner of a 2016, the simplicity of the truck is part of it's charm.
So moving it way upscale, like everyone else. With an accompanying big price increase too, I'll bet😒. Not sure the new look will be better. Currently they have a great looking mid-size truck. And many of us like all the physical buttons, which are superior to fumbling around with finicky touch screens when driving. Especially if wearing (gasp!) work gloves (or winter gloves)! Most thankfully they are keeping the NA V6 however! That engine is a gem of modern, reliable simplicity!
Return to keyswitch starting & keyed door locks both sides, plus a manual transmission option, and I'll be down at the dealer tomorrow morning. A CD player would be nice, too - I'm not a 'download' dude - but I can take care of that little problem myself.
Forget these minor changes, look at what the competition is doing. The new 2025 Jeep Hurricane Inline 6 engine is going to steam roll sales in mid-size. Anyone like myself who has owned inline 6 cylinders engine knows first hand it’s the engine design to have.
@@AyaWetts One of the reasons for a thumbs up or down lets me know I've already viewed this one and can move on! That doesn't mean I like or dislike it.
99% of this video is pure speculation. Nissan hasn't actually announced anything. We've seen them test driving the 2025s with hiding stickers and the body us not really getting a refresh. Maybe tiny differences but mostly not. It is pretty confirmed that they are going with the touch screen mentioned in the video. Also, Nissan has had the 9 speed since 2020, it's not new to 2025 and likely bs about the new hp, torque, and towing numbers.
I don't want a touch screen at all nor an infotainment system or road sensors etc. I want simplicity with excellent off road capabilities, towing and comfort without distractions.
Love the idea of the long bed, Love the power increase, nice front and rear design. The things I hate, and not just Nissan is the interior, you can have any color you want as long as it's black or diesel gray. Thanks for keeping the V-6, that's exactly what killed the Toyota Tacoma for me. Now bring back the 4.0lL V-6, then you'll have a clear winner, but really it is the clear Winner. But that's my opinion.
Just read a car and driver article about the 2025 frontier. The Frontier will cost more than the Colorado and Ranger, bad news. Nissan is giving up one of the biggest advantages.
I'd like to see Nissan push the limits with this truck. Like offering at least 350 hp with the same in torque. Like to see them get their payload up to 2k lbs and able to tow 8k. Do that Nissan and then you will have a true winner for this truck segment.
Added wieght with still having a soft ride can be easily done with progessive rear suspension, I bought a 1989 F250 XLT Larriete Deisel that had the progressive rear suspension the empty ride was as smooth as a Lincoln and was the same fully loaded👍🇨🇦
Fix the power button on the Drivers side reclining seat, every time I exit the truck & return later only to find out the bucket seat drifted back several inches this happens about 90% of the time very poor design. Never in my life I ever encounter this with any other vehicle !!
all truck manufacturers should get rid od those stupid screens......they cost too much, cost a fortune to replace, and are only attractive to the bubble gum crowd or very old seniors who are half blind.
Actually, the screens are dirt cheap compared to engineering and outfitting a vehicle interior with all sorts of real buttons and real gauges. That, and loading the screen driven systems with snoopware and ongoing revenue streams offerings through subscription services. They are only marketed as upscale and high tech.
so your saying for the same money as the Tacoma its a better truck. I agree its a better truck but if its the same price as the Tacoma then Nissan will lose their sales just like Toyota.
Nissan is already telling dealerships to drop prices on their current vehicles that along with having a naturally aspirated v6 they’re increasing their sales incredibly !! It’s the smart move !!
@sWarburton well if you're thinking the Taco 24 carrot gold is better, your nuts. 24 carrot gold is soft, not as strong. The taco has more problems and quality issues and probably is the highest priced MIDSIZE truck, just like 24 carrot gold.Which is charging for full size truck prices. Taco sales have gone down close to 50%, if not more in sales.Because 24 carrot gold is so soft, so is the Taco . If Nissan dropped their price, which I see they are, and so much more reliable,18 carrot gold, they will sell way more fronties than those rotten broken, soft, 24 carrot gold overpriced tacos
@@johnmcmanus123 Forget the gold , My reply was in regard to your putting Frontier at the same price as Taco. I personally would NEVER put Taco ahead of the Frontier. However, you jack the Frontier price up to an overpriced TACO and they both are doomed!!
I disagree. I will miss the interior you hate so much. It’s far more functional and reasonable than most of today’s laptop-looking interiors that are less functional and can be a pain to use. Who gives a damn if it’s dated.
It needs the new Google system. We have a 23 and 24 Rogue Platinum. I don’t drive the 23 anymore. The old system is just blah. Dump the Fender. Go BOSE.
With more moving to frontier this same ideyots who turned other trucks into clown techs now wanted nissan to move that same direction with expensive price tag!
I have read that Nissan has halted and new developments on ICE engines. They will soon be an obsolete company with no relevance. It will be the end of one of the best mid size trucks.

🔴6 Reasons Why You SHOULD NOT Buy Ford Ranger! WATCH HERE! 👉 th-cam.com/video/nBnvH_DYbFk/w-d-xo.html
You said FORD, that's reason enough not to buy. Two decades ago they used to be good.
Manufacturers need to stop listening to critics who only care about how much tech the truck has and how modern it is. Start listening to the consumers who want a traditional simple vehicle without all the excessive tech
Most companies switched to the smaller engines with turbo, cause of the EPA..
Nissan needs more direct input from consumers. I bought a Frontier and never received aJD power or any opportunity to rate the truck. That’s because critics have no need for trucks and don’t understand what we prefer. Oh my, soft touch plastics oh la la!
Exactly, I want a reliable truck, not a computer on wheels.
Exactly I want a 4x4 truck with a V-6 non turbo, standard 6 speed transmission , a tachometer, A/C and a nice stereo. That’s it, nothing else!
You just listed 5 reasons to buy a 2024 before they ruin them next year!
I agree
For real facts!!
Personally, I like the current Frontier's interior. I hope they don't mess it up with screens everywhere. I like buttons and knobs.
I don’t know who wrote this video but the interior of the current Frontier is the best of all midsize trucks.
Everything where it should be and not drowning is unnecessary tech.
Except the awkward location and hard to see/reach start/stop switch and some of the down low switches left of the steering wheel. So not everything.
You think a touchscreen isn’t improvement don’t you people realize that there’s a whole mess of people who don’t want this modern touchscreen crap
Thats what im afraid of with all this nerds wanting every vehicle turned into a tech mess
Exactly. If I want to look at a tablet I will look at my Samsung s9 ultra…….also….distracted driving….come on now…
Nobody wants a bigger touch screen.
Lost me on big screen position. Hate the trend

This is the subject I wanna hear. CVT those transmission ain't nothing but garbage
No worries....
Nissan is staying with it's solid 9 speed transmission
i hope they put the longbed option on the pro. i don't know why they didn't already
I wanna new Nissan frontier, but I still don't wanna give up on my 2006 Frontier.
The new Frontier is much quieter on the road than my 2009 was.
It's past time to replace your 06. I have a 12 with only 14k miles I'm trading in for a 24.
Channels like this suck because there is no information behind what you claim. you do it for clicks and views.
Just saw the Nissan Frontier website indicating a starting price for Frontiers at $14,000.00 higher than 2024 starting price. Insane!!!
@@davidlillie4332 adding Android Carplay, and a telescoping steering wheel, does not equate to a $14,000 increase!

It will be dumb for them to get rid of the V6. Many new buyers are flocking towards frontier mainly because of the tried and proven V6 engine.

Did they fix the long turn radius
Or the hard steering?
Thank you Nissan for keeping the normally aspirated v-6.NO TURBO👏👏👏👏

Good on no turbo, Tacoma's turbo engine is killing the sales.
