This looked so wonderful Kevin. My late husband loved my cooking. It would have been our 61st wedding/anniversary today if he had not passe d 3 years ago. I love all of your blogs. Thank you ❤
I am a fiber artist/handweaver/yarn dyer. I LOVE this and am sharing it to my page of 5,000 other fiber artists followers! Thank you for your clear and interesting demos with commentary. You are an artist, too.
Kevin you are a brave soul to bake w the heat and humidity you were already enduring. Thx for the demo. Found a recipe in King Arthur’s catalog and couldn’t picture the roll up. I like the whipping cream in the recipe and will try it. Thx. Looks fun!
kevin, what a brilliant recipe to share and great instructions from you, as always. i've made it twice this past week! as you confessed yourself, it doesn't last very long. sigh. the fringes and rolling up were so much fun to create, and the entire process took under 4 hours with very little hands on time. thank you!!!!!!!
Wow! This is a really beautiful pan of bread! I am so amazed at how you make this AND make it so easy to do. Your instructions are impeccable! Thank you so much! I can hardly wait to make this myself. I might add something to the inside when I am proficient at baking this. Thank you again! Happy Eating! ☺💖🙏
You are a joy to watch!! I am so happy that I found you. Your recipes are wonderful and you are a great teacher! Thank you so much for sharing your time and talent. I'm a new subscriber! 🙏❤
Your thumbnail picture looked interesting as I have never seen bread like that before. It looked quite easy to make and I will at least try to make myself.
There you are! I love these kinds of videos, they feel much more personal. I feel much more involved. Thanks again for the new bread recipe. I will definitely try it. All your bread videos I have tried so far have been a success, and let me tell you, I tried many others. I almost gave up until I found you.
@@kathleenpalmer845 Don't you love it when he has a story to tell? I also appreciate when he talks about why and how, instead of just throwing ingredients... He is my favorite TH-cam teacher!
This bread looks wonderful. The west side of the US has been cool and rainy. It is difficult to imagine 99 degree weather. I look forward to making this bread.
How cool is that ?!?! 😁 I’ve never seen this style bread before but now I can’t wait to try making it . Hubby and I loved watching this together - this style makes us feel like we are right in the kitchen baking along side you. Oh did we laugh when you made the little face in the dough 🤣😂🤣. We can total relate to the “attacking” the bread action. 👍🤣 Hope your weather cools down for you - we aren’t fans of high humidity/high heat.
When you use the hard tortilla is called a Tostada. Huevos rancheros is made with a soft corn tortilla, egg and homemade cooked salsa ( garlic, onion, tomato chicken stock black pepper and a pinch of oregano).
Kevin, this bread looks so fun! It’s supposed to rain here Friday so I might have the day off, I own a garden center, so I’m going to try it. Thanks, love from Boston!
I have trouble baking bread during the more humid months, so maybe your additional flour is the trick. Thanks for another great video. I love how clear and careful you are in your demonstrations. Have a great summer!
tysvm kevin. it looks great! my brioche didnt turn out (raw dough in center) so im tryin this. i got my kitchen aid and need to make stuff to learn. im old and just beginning to cook & bake so i do quite a bit of research and i have found your recipes work. so thank you for quality productions. i appreciate it
I will be trying this on another day. It's just too late today for me to be able to pull it out of the oven and be able to get enough sleep in before having to get ready for work in the morning. I do love how you show in detail how to perform the tricks of the trade!
Hi Kevin, do you have the printed recipe for this? The only way I can cook is with a written recipe in front of me so I don't have to keep replaying the video and taking notes. Or did I miss it somewhere. Also how much is 350 grams in American measurements. Thanks.
Hehehe… We had to go back and rewatch to see what you meant - didn’t catch the pun the first time but we laughed as we rewatched and saw what you meant 🤣👍
In theory, this recipe could work with any type of yeast dough. For fluffy softness you'd want to use an enriched dough, such as the two you mentioned, or the one described in the video. Enjoy!!!

You are an amazing teacher. Thank you so much!
Made this gorgeous loaf today. Thank you for your charming self and down to earthiness.

Hi Kevin, thank you so much for your explanations and even telling us folks how much it is in Gramms. It is good when you live in Germany.
What a lovely loaf - looks like a croissant! Also looks like it would be FUN to make. Thanks for posting this!
I'll give this one a try thanks Kevin. A wonderful recipe x

When you made the little face, it reminded me of ‘Wilson’ in the movie Castaway! The stringy hair and all! 😂. This bread looks sooo yummy!
Very, very, cool❤

Oh YUM, This looks fantastic!
I'm going to make this tomorrow with shredded cheese. Thanks

That was really interesting 👨🍳thank you Kevin 🥂Will have to try!
Well, I will definitely try this bread Kevin.....and I like the relaxed feel of watching you bake in your kitchen! Happy Memorial Day.

Thanks for this wool bread recipe it's beautiful
I've got to try this one! BTW, made you're sweet potato nests for my wife, got a 👍👍, now it's part of my repetoire.
So glad the sweet potato nests were a hit for you!
@@kevinleejacobs1364 it's such a great idea and versatile. You can bake the nests with other fillings besides eggs.
I will definitely try this. Love all your videos.
OK Kevin! Slobbered all over my iPad!
Very unique
🎉😊
Definitely a must
This looks so yummy! The inside texture was so soft and fluffy, it actually did look like wool, lol. Thank you so much for sharing. 🌺💜
Do you care for some
😊👏👍
Nice.

Little whisk...get it? Ha...this looks lovely
Could I make it garlicky??
Where others have added dried cranberries or chocolate, you could add pureed garlic! Or crumbled cooked bacon. Or shredded cheese. Enjoy!
Hehehe… We had to go back and rewatch to see what you meant - didn’t catch the pun the first time but we laughed as we rewatched and saw what you meant 🤣👍
Looks too good to eat haha! I might try it with chocolate and sprinkle some sugar on top before baking.
Would this work with any other types of doughs? I suspect it would have to be a brioche or challah type dough, right?
In theory, this recipe could work with any type of yeast dough. For fluffy softness you'd want to use an enriched dough, such as the two you mentioned, or the one described in the video. Enjoy!!!
I bet if you added butter, cinnamon and sugar that would make a wonderful pull apart cinnamon bread.
It's WILSON....from Castaway
Print copy?
Kevin Can I use regular flour
Hi Fran - This bread will turn out perfectly well with regular all-purpose flour. Enjoy!
