Margaret Secret Boss Fight Rage Strategy (Persona 3 Portable, Maniac Difficulty)

- 3 days late....still first though (They did not fix Oracle desc. at all, odd)
Well anyways, since P3P released on PC 3 days back, thought to post a video about it. If one wants to learn about this boss fight in more detail, check out the previous video wherein I solo'd her. The idea of this is to show the maximum potential of Rage for this fight, bringing everyone that hits the hardest using phys attacks. It is quite effective given the right personas and strategy for the job, that much is certain.
Everyone had a Raging Tiger equipped to double damage output, there is some backup strategies assuming the protag is missed by her Infuriate skill (Shocking her using either Telos or Odin) and the best armor is used to lessen damage as much as possible.
This strategy is definitely locked behind a significant amount of RNG, however. That Oracle in the beginning is technically not necessary but is pretty neat to take advantage of, actually surviving the first phase with everyone keeping their innate endure is a challenge, by itself. And most importantly, actually getting everyone enraged when it is perfectly set up (Protag has Power Charge, Matarukaja and Marakunda casted) is not very common at all. I managed to only get those results from testing (Thumbnail shows peak damage by protag in the right circumstance) but it just goes to show that even if it is imperfect, it is still extremely effective.
Mods are installed but they are just cosmetic (More accurate descriptions, Button prompts, and the music). So nothing here is not doable with no mods installed.
Personas, equipment and difficulty shown at the end.
Calling FeMC "Makoto Yuki" feels weird.
That's why FemCdonalds exists
Then don’t call her that 💀
I got such whiplash from seeing that the first time even though the name is unisex
Yea i named my Lyla Futanari
It's a unisex name.
Akihiko is in trouble! Yeah, and Ken is literally dying in the corner. 7:36
Beating shotacon allegation
Glad someone posted this Strat, I figured this out back in 2018 and it’s still hilarious.
Interesting. Yeah it's pretty logical to come to this kind of strategy in some form or another. Although adding in the Frenzy Beads in the equation did not cross my mind until the start of 2020 due to wanting to solo the fight.
Apparently it can be applied to a handful of fringe cases, although I wish it's more applicable in general.
Margaret hits hard but her theme has no right to hit to that hard
Margaret makes the sussiest noises when she gets hit ._.
And then there's the english voice where she just say *NOU!*
i love her but girl fina make people act up
And yall wonder why no one respects Persona fans...
@@Sosigwastaken there are many reason persona fans aren't respected this one but this a game from japan you can't come in without a expecting sus stuff from the male and female characters
Weird that they went with her defeat voice line as a basic damage voice line in Portable.
*But it's LEAGUES better than this shit.*
The rage DMG is quite high, damn XD
They should have used this as her battle theme in p4 golden ans this

im surprised people werent using PPSSPP to play this, its a better experience because of the ability to upscale textures to 4k.
Well if I have to be honest people just don't want to pirate the game that's their main excuse for long time even if that's that some people want to play persona 3 on their switch or ps4 so they buy the remaster
@@omartn4682 yeah nowadays play those, but im saying before the releases to the PC switch etc. PPSSPP was a good way to play it is all. And there is ways to get your rom from a psp disk onto your computer no piracy required,
Bye bc im doing that actually

Oh people do. Quite a lot, in fact. Although the PC version have definite advantages over the PSP version at this point in time. Especially in terms of the available mods for it. Biggest one is likely Manual inheritance, and no one is willing to port that to PSP anytime soon.
But really, whatever version will do the trick. I have both, I just play the PC version now due to convenience.
How is the song that was playing called?

Did the arena always have that big white circle in the middle of it?
From what I recall, no. I've only seen it in the PC version.
Oh wait, this is a dif fight than in P4G...
Oh god, I have to add this to my list of things to reject.
Small question.
Basically i am fighting margaret. But i am on 31st of January and can't leave tartarus. I have been reading a lot guides on how to beat margaret and they say that weapons and armor are really important. I can deal with the armor problem but other then that i can't leave tartarus to make weapons from the antique shop. Are they so important to point of doing a ng+ or is there an other way to deal damage?.
I am trying to avoid new game plus because it the 5th time now and don't have the time to do so. If there is any other way, i would really appreciate it.
Thx in advance.
With that situation, you just have to do the fight the old fashioned way. Abusing of Attack and Magic Mirrors, doing the most amount of damage always using a mage and whatnot. The weapons shouldn't be much of a problem if you merely want to beat her. This strategy is more for a showcase of its potential to beat her with the least amount of turns.
The most basic and generic way to beat her is simply spamming Black Viper or Morning Star the entire fight while the others does some damage, buffs and heals. But that will require Armageddon to be used when the 5th phase is reached. If you do not have 2 of those at least, that is out of the question. A better idea is to use the break strategy shown here th-cam.com/video/mv2yqEHHB9Q/w-d-xo.html
Just ignore everyone's weapons. It will definitely work just like that. But the problem in that is building stats for the persona you are using (It doesn't have to be Messiah necessarily, but it does help a lot due to Magic Skill Up). And the amount of Attack and Magic Mirrors you possess.
@@bothdoorscares3878 Thank you so much man. Keep up the good work. We need people like you in every community.
@@bothdoorscares3878 i do have 8 armageddons on me but attack and magic mirrors not so much. I have like 5 each. Won't makakern or takakern be enough?
@@phoenixdownzd5246 It should be enough. Just keep in mind to keep 3 Magic Mirrors in the 4th phase. I'd suggest to read the Low Completion section of the Margaret fight of this guide steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2925884706
what is the battle theme?
Just look up Margaret theme
How do I get to the area where I can re battle bosses
When you reach January, Vision Quest doors will appear in Tartarus automatically. When you are in NG+, this will be available the entire playthrough.
@@bothdoorscares3878 thank you so much
Can someone explain to me how to get raging tiger on all of the characters? I know that the MC it depends on what persona you use and you'll most likely use a skill card for anyone else but I have been trying to look at how to get the raging tiger skill card and there's nothing online. I've been leveling people up until they get all of their abilities / to lvl 99 and they still don't get raging tiger
They're from chests in specific floors of Arqa I. I forgot what exact floors but it's at the tail end of it. The equipment is called "Frenzy Beads"
@@bothdoorscares3878 thank you so much for the reply, this helps me immensely!
Im not a big persona guy. Is this a real boss or a mod? I thought margret was the p4 attendee
Same, I have a lot of questions lol
It's real the portable edition of persona 3 came out after 4 so that's why Margaret is here
@@Void-A1 cool that cool to know cause i started playing p3 (mostly blind friend told me some big spoilers a year ago before they announced it) so it will be cool after i finish the mc run to go to femcs run
It's in the game
P3P contains a lot of additional easter eggs to characters in P4. You can find Kashiwagi in the male route during Operation Babe Hunt and a younger Yukiko in the female route in the game
I was so confused when I title like, WHAT? MARGARET? Did they mean Elizabeth? Until I saw the video lmfao
Is this part of p3p? I do i need something to put some code etc.?
It's unlocked after you beat the vision quests
Where did you download the Eng Sub with the Japanese voice rom from?
@@arooj456 this is the PC version. It has dual audio built-in.
@@bothdoorscares3878 could I have the link?
How’d you beat the game so fast?
Imported my perfect save from PSP.
How do you get secret boss fight
If this is in New Game, it will simply be unlocked in January after you defeat all the doors within Vision Quest. If this is in New Game +, one can do these doors earlier. As for how to beat those doors within Vision Quest, there should be posted solutions online.
@@bothdoorscares3878 wait how did you imported you save from psp?

Frenzy beads are perfect for this fight it seems haha
Why not unavoidable battle?
Considering how much time I invested in finding strategies for the secret bosses of this game, I am honestly quite sick of the song. Majority of that time is also on hardware years ago so I did not have the ability to change it until relatively recently.
Being able to mod in songs is refreshing for me, more or less. Besides, I find the song fitting for the attendants in general.
@@bothdoorscares3878 Ahh, i see
I thought it wasn't a mod, coz i didn't even play the remaster one yet, only play once on my PSP
Wait this is actually in Persona 3? And there’s an achievement. But Persona 4 doesn’t get an Elizabeth fight?
Because Elizabeth had already left the velvet room at the time P4 takes place.
Persona 3 Portable was released after Persona 4 (PS2)
Finally someone have japan dub game
I don't like YIYAH IYAH
Your first mistake was to use Junpei
