To be honest, the chemical products don’t work that well. Best to use bead blasting or walnut shell blasting. Not a timing belt on this engine it’s a chain. Once any valves are bent, the cylinder head must come off, so no point in checking how many teeth are skipped.
That Nulon product looks pretty good. Did the timing belt jump one notch?

What’s the name of the giant c clamp you used to removal the retainers for the springs??
It’s a valve spring removal tool. I made mine out of a 17mm deep socket and an F clamp.
