I never saw the show, didn't know anything about it. This clip made me think maybe it was the medical version of Police Squad, only it wasn't. They were serious. Bizarre.
Babylon Bee tends to predict the future, so maybe that’s where they got the idea.

It recently started on Netflix- I’m an actual medic and even from episode 1 they appear to not have had any actual medical advisers. The medicine is nonsense. I gave up after six episodes- glad to see I made the right decision if it gets this woke.

Do hospital shows ever have actual medicine in them? I lived in a household with FOUR nurses/nursing students, but I never heard them complain about stupid shit on Grey's Anatomy or ER or such. Of course the amount of time to idle and gossip is ridiculous, but suspension of disbelief is the key.
I watched it when it was on NBC. I quit in the second season. It gets more and more woke as it goes on.
I used to watch this show, and was enjoying it. That night, I threw my hands up into the air, turned it off, and never watched another minute. I gave up.
I gave up a little before this, but after seeing this I realize I made the right decision.

My wife liked that show so I watched a couple of seasons with her but then it got super woke and I said "I'm done". Never watched another episode.
My friend that’s a story I can share with you too there are so Ms y shows my wife and I start watching we enjoy it then it’s like yeah I’m done why did we waste our lives or we just simply forget it ever existed.

Food is pretty bad almost everywhere. It’s not a fallacy to say it’s bad here too. The people who are eating well are closest to the source. So farmers and people in small communities with their own gardens and cattle. There are some families like that in the US, but it’s less rare in countries that have better agricultural policies and standards. It used to be that most people worked the land. Now less and less do. It’s a growing problem worldwide.
Generic shop foods and fast foods are really bad but even so called 'healthy' foods in the US, have still gone through chemical processes, that are banned in much of the world. Chlorinating chicken to wash off the bad stuff, is not permitted anywhere else. In Europe for example, they inoculate the chickens to prevent the diseases, that are covered up by a chlorine bath in the US. All in the name of profits.

The fact that they all shot that scene and wanted it to be serious is hilarious! lol. Only surrounded by the wokest possible people on set, with zero normal people on the entire project, could that scene ever make it to the screen without being laughed into oblivion.

My wife and I started watching this and first 10 minutes of first show started well. But couldn’t get past the 4th show in the first season as it was just so woke. Not sure what others who recommended were viewing.

New Amsterdam was produced at the height of Wokeness. They were going where the money was, which isn’t the greatest excuse in history. I gave them a chance, but each successive episode jumped more and more sharks until I just had to give up and move on to something else. The Rookie actually had one or two episodes where they danced in a circle around the altar of Wokeness, but they moved on from it so I gave them another chance. Stay woke for more than a couple episodes and I’ll grab the remote and start surfing.
Amsterdam gave more love to murderers, gangbangers, and drug dealers than it did to white people. I had to move on. I have no idea how the show ended.
