Brienne pledging fealty to Sansa was a touching callback to Brienne and Catelyn exchanging those same vows after Renly's death way back in Season 2. "You shall always have a place by my hearth, meat and mead at my table. And I pledge to ask no service of you that might bring you dishonor". The words are the same, but it's a sea of grief that separates the two moments. She is Lady Stark now.
@@NightmareSWGOH i know this But it's only small part of every episode Instead of the 9 and 10 are part of best episods ever made on series ;) The last is my favorite
Malisandre was right about everything but one thing. All she did was act on behalf of her God. She was firmly convinced that Stanis was the chosen king. Not because her God told her, because she thought so. Her God always spoke only of the rightful heir to the throne. She thought it was Stanis because he was legitimate. But gods are not wrong. In principle, she did everything right. Now she is depressed and wants to die. That's why she takes off the neckless and gets old. Not because Jon is dead, but because she can't explain why everything went so wrong.
Yes! I’ve been anticipating this one! Once again lovely reaction from Addie! I was so happy when Brienne arrived to rescue Sansa! What a great reaction as always!
Jaime promised everything that's been taken from them they'll take it back and more. That was a compelling scene. Their bond is strengthened by their loss, but unfortunately it also means Jaime being sucked back into the hellworld of King's Landing. He cannot escape his name no matter how hard he tries. The events in the North gets me emotional everytime. It's beautiful.
The Brienne Oathkeeper scene is definitely the best moment of this episode. When Cat set Jaime free, it started the snowball effect of an enraged Karstark killing the Lannister boys and Robb killing him in turn, which ultimately lead to the demise of the Starks. That "Oathbreaker, you're a man without honor" "Kingslayer, what a king he was" scene in S2 with Jaime and Cat was the first time Brienne came face to face with Jaime. This is a full circle moment as she keeps the promise that Jaime had made to Cat in that tent in exchange for his freedom. I guess Cat's reckless Hail Mary, which set in motion the very events that wiped out Robb and herself, ended up paying off after all. There's some poetic irony to it.
I'm not sure Catelyn was reckless, as Jaime wouldn't have survived the night with the atmosphere in Robb's camp and Robb away. Or that things weren't in motion for the Red Weddiing before that. Robb was always going to need to cross that bridge again.
This is my second fav season after 4. Don't get it twisted cuz of the haters. Some of the most memorable moments of GoT, and pretty much any show of the last decade, is in this season. Let's get it!
The season 6 trailer opens at the Night's Watch with a sad, solemn music playing and a grieving Mellisandre saying "The great victory I saw in the flames, all of it was a lie." She had said she's seen Stannis fighting at Winterfell. She had said she's seen herself walking on the battlements of Winterfell as the Bolton banners were being lowered to the ground. What if her vision was actually two separate visions. Wicked games.

The scene where Theon And Sansa are crossing the river was, for the fact, filmed during summer, with 35 degrés 🙂 It makes it more easier even if they Have tons of clothes x)
It doesn't talk about it but remember Jorah grew up on Bear Island. It may just be in the books but I thought he talked about it once in the show all he had to do there was hunt and fish pretty much. Kind of why his wife left him and he ended up doing stuff for money like selling the poachers to slavers to afford her entertainments. He has to be a pretty damn good tracker.
Fun Fact @ 10:00 it was over 80 degrees F with fake snow, lots and lots of paraffin wax for ice and some good CGI for Sansa and Theon crossing the river.
Addie, imagine having to wait an entire year to pick up where season 5 left off. Lol I’m happy you got the experience of being able to quickly progress the story. That year was agonizing.
It was Sansa who saved Brienne back at the tavern, Brienne was out numbered and Sansa knew it. Brienne also understood Sansa not trusting her as she never heard of her. They both lived for this day.
I always found it so awful that after Oberyn died avenging his sister + his nephews and nieces, the sand snakes go and kill his remaining sibling and nephew in his name. Absolutely the opposite of what Oberyn would have ever wanted considering how much his kin meant to him

Ppl joke about that Trystan scene, but it's actually pretty simple. The letter written to Doran Martel has a couple of misspellings. Which confirms it was written by Jaime, as Tywin passingly told Arya in season two about Jaime's struggles with reading & writing, which sounded awfully like dyslexia. If you zoom in, the letter says "Your son cannot stay. I'm sending him back". So there it is. The Sand Snakes didn't magically teleport to the ship on its way to Kings Landing. Trystane was sent back by Jaime and was intercepted and killed on his way back. There's no plothole there at all, but they didn't bother to explain it because Dorne was neglected from the start. Good thing we're done with Dorne for the season. The Arya stuff is the weak link of this one, but more tolerable than Dorne and the payoff in the end is unbelievably good.
Geez, Dan, nice calling the old woman's naked body "gross". Even in old age a body is a remarkable thing. If you're lucky, you'll find that out firsthand.
-I understand Elaria Sand, but the only problem is that she did two things, Oberyn wouldnt accept. Turning against the family (killing Doran and Tristan) and killing a innocent child (Myrcella). I understand she is angry and wants revenge, but she should only use against Cersei and not doing collateral damages to attack her. (the main issue with her, is the book fans, know this is not Ellaria, because she is the opposite. As for the show fans, it doesnt make sense!) -Margaery is having deep sht! because not only she is on prison, but also Loras. The only Bargain ship is that she is the queen! but she will played that using in her advantage? Again Loras is on prison and god knows what they can/or will do to him! At this point, even if Tommen tries to rescue her, by sending an army, what garantees he have, that High Sparrow doesnt execute Margaery and Loras or worst! What is her alternative? -Cersei deserved everything that happen to her (only Myrcella death was sad and that one, she didnt deserved! but for Myrcella e not for Cersei itself) and even after the walk, she now can walk free and make plans. But her stupidity and turning against her allies, made her be alone. After this, Lady Olenna will not want to work with her. Cersei have no support, the people hate her, the nobles despise her! All made by her hand. The only person that may help her is her minion (i forgot his name). But his only interested is keeping making experience! So his loyalty may been question, soon Cersei started to cut support!
They did a good job showing Melisandre's lack of faith by showing how she's cold and tired. Weirdly Melisandre is more sympathetic to me than Cersei lol
