- Thanks for watching another RobShazTravels Video. In this video we show you how to get to one of the most magical towns in Thailand and then we take you for a look around this enchanting village. You will find out all you need to know about where to stay, eat and find entertainment. The absolute highlight of Railay in Krabi is the magnificent scenery, dramatic limestone cliffs and beautiful beaches of Phra Nang and West Railay Beach.
We leave from Khao Lak in the Phang Nga Province and make our way to Ao Nang in Krabi. From Ao Nang you will have to catch a Longtail Boat to Railay as there is no access to this Village by road. Although it is not an Island Railay is an isolated peninsula in Krabi Thailand and it is totally worth the effort to get there.

Did you consider taking the taxi to AoNamMao Pier then a ferry to Railay East jetty for Sand Sea Resort whose reception is actually on the east beach? Saves coping with heavy luggage embarking/disembarking the long tail on the beach and wading through the water with the luggage.
Nah we were ok wading through the water it was an adventure :)

The hotel we stayed in was right on the beach it was only a short walk from where the boat dropped us off
