Thank you for some very informative videos 🙏 the best I have found on youtube and I have looked at a lot 😅 very much look forward to check in on khoa lak sunset resort this Saturday. So you guys know, whether it is possible to rent an atv rather than a motorbike? With a broken elbow, an atv just seems more comfortable, riding on the back on.
Hello Zakkie. Thanks for your kind words we are very happy you like our videos and we appreciate your support. You did make us a bit jealous though mentioning that you are heading there this Saturday 😂😂 In relation to the ATV. The only ones that we saw for Hire were in Bush settings for off-road use. Where we hired our bike from they only had Motorcycles unfortunately. So we are not really sure if you would be able to hire one for general riding on the roads etc. Sorry we can’t be more help.
Hey guys. Wondering if you were in Khao Lak this evening ? Fri 25.10.24 ? If so thought you might’ve walked past us drinking at Landing Bar around 1930. Missed the opportunity to say gday (if it was you) Anyway love the vid. Good tips. Cheers from an Aussie oi oi oi

We rented the booked through a company called Khao Lak Motorbike Rental not far from Bang Niang Market. The lady was lovely to deal with. Their number is +66 89 647 3893. The phone holder came with it but we’re not sure if all their bikes have them Enjoy your trip 🤗
Hi Mountain Life. The only one we are certain hires Paddle Boards is at Memories Beach. Some hotels on the beach have them for the residents but I am not sure which ones. But you can definitely hire at Memories Beach 🏖️
Good question Khao Lak has amazing beaches but not a whole lot to do for the kids, there are some things like mini golf and bamboo rafting Phuket has amazing beaches like Bang Tao, Kamala, Surin, Kata and Nai Han beach and there is so much to do with the kids but depending on the time of year that you go it can be very busy Krabi, not so nice beaches and some beautiful things to do Emerald pool, kayaking hot springs but is that what the kids will like :) If I was to take my kids I would probably go to Phuket as they have so much more things to do for the kids If it was just me and Rob going I would go back to Khao Lak because the beaches are amazing and it is such a relaxed place compared to Phuket I hope this helps :)
@robshaztravels so much to do means what ??? I love beaches....and nature...that's good enough for 5 days...we don't want to take too many risks....how is the local transportation in khao Lak ??? Is it too expensive??

Fab video. Which resort would you say is better for bars restaurants in the evening? Also how long does it take to get to the Similan islands? Many thanks
Hi Sharon thank you for the kind words. We found the nightlife good in the Bang Thong area. The Monkey Bar was good for a bit of a Party. In relation to the resort choices there are too many choices over too much price range to be able to recommend one unfortunately. We would suggest choosing the area you want to stay in and then check on an app like Hotels Combined or Bookings.com and filter by your budget. To get to the Similan Island from the Thap Lamu port took around 80-90 mins on the speed boat. Hope that helps and happy to answer any more questions if we can. Enjoy your trip 😄👌
Thank you so much. I was steering towards the Bang Niang area but I look at Bang Thong. We will have a motorbike so daytime isn’t an issue. I think the trip to Similan may be out of the question as I’m not great on boats. Thought if it wasn’t too far then I’d risk it 😆
