My hips went bone on bone over a year ago.
I have a very high pain tolerance, but this is savage and humiliating, honestly.
I am currently strong enough to put all my weight on my arms and can safely fall forward into a glide with a rollator. That is faceplant material with a walker and my height to rollator ratio.
Being a former enduro bicyclist, I must say that affordable rollators (under $300) have unrespectable braking systems.
    Reliably consistent braking matters.
I'll probably be fine, but I betcha a hell of a lot of rollator users had accidents related to cheap and moody brakes that just suck by any professional standards.
Yeah, you can spend three or four grand for acceptable standards, but that is highway robbery.
Felonious by any standard of decency.
I opine that there is some scumbaggery among the standards.
    Seriously.
Brakes on affordable rollators are crap.

Thank you Doctor! This is so helpful for me as I’m currently looking for a cane while recovering from a leg injury.

Is it possible to rest my knee on the seat of the rollator and use it as a knee walker for a non weight bearing injury?
