I discovered one of minecrafts most insane terrain bug

- This is all in vanila minecraft! - terrain generation (to my knowledge) happens on all seeds, not just my glitched seeds I mentioned discovering at the beginning of the video, I figure that because I went to the same location in a randomly generated world. [Currently running on Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.50]
I didn't do any more research in my worlds after the initial encounter, but what I've gathered is that the phenomenon occurs at a distance greater than 10000000 blocks [x,z values].
I had trouble only traveling in one cardinal direction (i.e. x-0,y-100,z-10000000] and didn't find anything doing it, it could have been because I didn't look long enough and that I got unlucky.
Again, more research needs to be done to make any concrete judgements.
3:04 that looks like the perfect place for s big base
Reminds me of those monoliths from ancient versions
bugrock😍😍
2:27 The top of that looks like part of a noise cave. Maybe the newer cave generation is somehow causing this?
That's a pretty good theory, I knew it had something to do with the noise map messing up somehow, but never thought about it
its like that one antvenom video about the beta minecraft monolith except on bedrock
@@mathewma5818 That was initially my first thought
@@thecozad4353 heck yeah
Stripe Lands Monoliths is going to be the new popular weird generation bug, predicting it right here
@@Myne1001 Sure would be interesting to see
Try digging underneath the monoliths. It would be interesting to see if the land itself pushed up and if there is a gap beneath the bedrock and the underground stone.
@THEBulletMagnet-u2m Did a quick check, and unfortunately it doesn't appear to do that. Only extrudes from the surface upwards. All the caves and such below the spires are normal. The caves do propagate through the structures though.
@@thecozad4353 thats still quite cool
I wont say your the one who discovered this as given mountain generation after 2,812,333 blocks has been known to be broken for a few years now. I remember teleporting out that far to discover mountains were actually large pits of lava; I wonder what changed between then and now, given they are large monoliths in your footage.
@@Canyobility That's good to know. I only made that statement because I haven't seen any videos covering this bug before, or after finding this. Although it'd be cool to say I found something like this, I'd be just as glad if an earlier video covering this were to surface.
@@thecozad4353 this has happened to me in Pocket edition especially with superflat worlds 😭

It's been a while since I watched this video, but I remember it being somewhat decent in its explanation. Although the generation bug it outlines and your bug technically are two different things, I think it is likely that both bugs are closely related. I hope this could be a good head start.
@@Canyobility I watched the video. Very interesting for sure, given that it seems like the bug in my case is a reversal of what happened in that video. Thanks for showing bringing that up, definitely clears up a but of suspicions I had on the subject
Welcome to the Not-So-Far Lands
we need this in the base game
what in the bedrock
awesome
seed?
@@cheese_enjoyer_man Happens on every seed
@ oh ok
