      Zebra Cake you gotta bleed em same with catfish the ones near us taste like crap but if you bleed them they taste good.

      Good grief I just caught a couple tonight with my son on the gasconade river that is spring-fed in Missouri and let me tell you they are top-of-the-line fish, all white meat no bones nothing fishy you sir are tripping.

    These are not actually "pearls" and are not ivory. They are operculum and are a skeletal facial structural element.

    Nobody calls these buffalo. Buffalo fish are a whole different species.
    What you have is a fresh water Drum, aka sheepshead, Gasper Goo. But nobody calls them buffalo! Ever!
