    The best gains of my life were when I stopped strength training and switched to Segre Nubrets volume routine, I ended up with 17inch arms as a natural.
    I dropped a load of fat too

      Great results, It worked so well for me that I had people around me 'accusing' me. Serge was a genius.

      No, you cannot be natural and train like Arnold

    I bought a muscle magazine in the aiport 8 years ago and they had a story on Serge Nubret .. i started following the routine they said he did and build the best physique in my entire life in only 6 months. I have not looked that good since .. i'm gonna go back on this high volume short rest plan with little to no cardio.

      It is a hard routine but the results are amazing, go back to it. You won't regret it.

      Hi Wayne, Serge was really an exceptional bodybuilder. I talk about him in my other video. best, N

      Well, there are people who achieve good results with different training methods, but the most important thing is to experiment and find what works for you. I'm trying to give people more options, so they have a choice.

    People don't realize how important the intensity is, and the short breaks between the sets. People take 5 minutes breaks between sets, ridiculous !!

    So wouldn't it be fair to say that Arnold already built his foundation moving heavy weight. Then used volume as a means to sculpt his physique and maintain it.

    • @nashjocic888
      @nashjocic888  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well he did, but if you look at his size while he was doing power lifting, he was not that big. He grew dramatically when he started training differently...

    Everyone who knew Arnold: "He never did cardio."
    Arnold: "I always liked to run 5 miles."

    Nash can you train like Arnold naturally though , we would be so overtrained we probably would never grow and regress. What is your thought on this

    • @nashjocic888
      @nashjocic888  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Very hard to train like him and being natural. Some principles and work ethics can be taken from him, but not to copy what he has done. Best, N

    I am 46 and do the same now.. Not lifting crazy weights anymore .. 3 workouts per body part . 7-10 reps ,I never putting more weight ,if not passing this numbers .. Even legs ..I use to do 5x5 but this is good for short time . After you get your body killing . Reg Park train like that ,but not always .. Even Arnold never doing crazy heavy shoulder presses or biceps curls .. I read many his book . He use 56 pounds dumbbells and was working for him. I am same tall ,and trying keep waist line small 36 inch . Doings Vacuum ever morning .. and abs 2 or 3 times a week. Now is different at home training . But have some dumbbells so I can train still full body .. Never Give up!!! I see all the time in the Gym ,special the blacks lifting heavy crazy pounds ,they even not doing proper reps;-(( What is the point

    • @nashjocic888
      @nashjocic888  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well, muscles don't grow by lifting heavy weights, but only but to the resistance which has nothing to do with heavy weights.. Understanding biomechanics will help understanding different ways of increasing intensity while painting safety and longevity in bodybuilding.

    You dropped Dorian Yates name but didn't expand. Some say he is the goat of bodybuilding. He was doing high intensity right ? :)

    • @nashjocic888
      @nashjocic888  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dorian is a good friend of mine, but that does not mean that I have to approve his training method. I'm interested in longevity in bodybuilding, which is not possible if you get many injuries...

    Dude.. you don't know what you are talking about. Why don't you read Arnolds biography "Education of a Body builder" and get yourself informed. "Arnold was not in shape" what a stupid statement, look at his pics Arnold was in shape from the time he was 16 years old, by the time he was 19 and still not in the states he already had the muscles that he had when he was 28 and retired. What he didn't have was definition, that is why Frank Zane beat him in 1968, he simply adjusted his diet and aerobics to shed the baby fat and he built his calves which were the only weak part. So clearly you don't know much about him and are just using his name to get viewers. Pathetic.
