there is no way to increase sarcoplasm chronically without adding myofibrils. How would a muscle benefit just from added intercellular fluid?

Dr Nash, should skinny men, 140lbs, should focus on capillarization like nick nilsson advises??

Sorry, I don't know the guy, but I think you are talking about hyperplasia. That is not necessary when focusing on building muscle. You should rather focus on compound movements and experiment with different rep range (6-8 and 12-20) and find out what works for you. Best, N

Hi Nash thanks for the video. I noticed that training serge number way my body responds well but I want to make sure I'm implementing his system properly could you please explain exactly how to know if you using his system correctly having had the opportunity train with him please. Especially around intensity.

Thank you for your comment. Again, you have to make sure that Serge's training system really works for you. Although he went as far as 40 sets per training session, you don't have to go that far. If you are doing medium weights and higher reps (12-20), anything from 20-30 sets may be the answer. That can be achieved doing one exercise (as he would do e.g. bench press) per session per muscle, or combination of 2 to 3 exercises (he also did that). No set should be to maximum failure, and you should stop 2-3 reps short of muscle failure. You should train every muscle group every 3-5 days. Nubret trained every muscle group twice per week, but don't forget that he was not natural, and that makes a big difference. If you are natural, you should not be doing exactly what he did, but rather experiment and find what works for you. Hope this help. Best, N.

@@nashjocic888 @nashjocic888 Hi Dr Nash something else I wanted to check with you please sir. Let's say you using the system not using the same amount of volume as him but you cut the volume in half. Let's say I'm doing 6 sets of bench press then Should I pick a weight where I get all 12 reps or do I pick a weight where maybe the first 3 set I get 12 and the last 3 let's say get 9 , 9 , 8 reps. Meaning I'm not pushing absolute failure I could have pushed to get 12 that would take me to failure more or less but stopped at around 9 for the remaining sets then next time try again until I can get 12 for all sets. So training with a short time of 30-60 sec rest do I let the fatigue build up by using a light weight and getting all reps or the double progression method

How many reps doesn't matter. Like Serge Nubret said, you go for the pump. Concentrate on pumping the muscle, not counting reps. I look at a series of sets for a muscle as one big set because I only break for a few seconds between sets, just long enough to set the weight down and pick it up again. ATP is replenished in 6 seconds. Do drop sets if you have to. But work for the pump. You'll have to work fast. This is not for today's wannabe bodybuilders who are looking to find a way to do less work.

Thank you for your comment. Nubret was resting anywhere from 30 -60 seconds for upper body muscles between sets, and longer for legs. So, you don't have to restrict your rest between sets to only few seconds. You can implement giant sets if they work for you, but Nubret did rest longer between sets. Best, N

Pump does nothing for growth. You got that all wrong my friend. The main driver of growth is mechanical tension which basically means you need to get stronger (weight and reps) over time.

@nashjocic888 If I rest that long, I won't achieve or maintain my pump. I found this method of training by trial and error and listening to some of the things Serge said. I'm in my 44th year. Keep in mind that I'm drug-free and 67 years old. I found that I absolutely must train everyday and perform 50 sets back to back and to failure to maintain hardness. This works for me. So, when the so-called experts say you can't get a pump when you get older, I have proven otherwise. Drug-free training requires a herculean effort.

your whole youtube is based on negativity and commenting on other successful bodybuilders that work harder than you, rather than listening and finding what works for you. That’s concerning. Hope you become a better man lol
