- New Expansion New Classes New Rotations! This is the 7.0 Opener & Rotation for Reaper executed on the Dummy for the Ex Trial. Keep in mind this is very early into the expansion and things might change.
I made a mistake in the Animation : Please do not use GRIM Reaping but VOID Reaping. Grim Reaping is only for AOE when you have multiple targets. Apologies for the mistake!
Reaper seems to be very strong right now! Regarding the 2 minute burst window there is a lot I want to mention:
In the video you can see I am delaying Arcane Circle in favour of finishing my combo, this is because Reaper Uses Arcane Circle in the opener super early to get access to enshroud as fast as possible. This means delaying it by a gcd will actually move it into a better window for other classes and their burst. (in comparison DRG uses Battle Litany after their 3rd GCD) This also allows me to fit more into my first 2min burst as I am not forced to finish my combo. Ontop of that I am able to generate additional 10 Soul Gauge which comes in handy for later burst windows.
The 2 min burst changes also a lot depending on your SKS/GCD speed. If you are at faster speed (2.45 for ex.) you can execute this rotation as in the video with less delay. Make sure to not break your combo if you have to interrupt it mid combo for your double enshroud window.
If you are rather unsure about delaying you can also skip a non-enshroud gcd and dont delay!

Hey there, I think there might be a little mistake (I assume) with the icon usage? After Cross Reaping, the icon animation says you use grim reaping (the AoE while in Enshroud)

Absolutely a mistake by me, I put Grim Reaping instead of Void Reaping! Embarassing LOL It's because I honestly dont know the exact names and I was more occupied with making the alignment nice and pretty than verifying the right skill.
I hope everyone understands that it's supposed to be Void Reaping and not Grim Reaping ;-;

Can anyone explain why you don't double weave the Sacrificum with the Enshroud cast?
you can I guess? just dont double weave it before you press arcana circle
Ive been wanting to get into reaper but there is this one issue i tend to encounter and that is when i need to disengage or i end up becoming too distracted to weave during my enshroud phase, should i priotise pressing the lemure i didnt do or just keep my gcd rolling missing one lemure? Im so used to keeping my gcd rolling on other classes and not being too punished for disengaging for some secs but it feels really awkward for me to do it as a reaper during my enshroud cause i just dont know if i should press the ogcd i didnt do or just keeo the gcd rolling and missing it...
well since enshroud is very flexible when its being used, in an optimal case you dont disengage during it. If you are specifically talking about the 2 minute-4-6minute where you cannot delay it i would probably try to keep the gcd rolling to keep the rotation flowing
Sorry, I'm new to reaper and am very confused. How are you using Plentiful Harvest straight after executioners gibbet&gallows?? It's not available when I try. Thanks in advance
It is tied to Arcane Circle giving you a free use of Plentiful Harvest after certain conditions are met! So you have to unlock that first :)
New to reaper,will you ever use harvest moon in the Rotation or opener? Cause its confusing why u should use soulsow when the skill is never used in the first place.

Harvest Moon is neither used in the opener or Rotation to my knowledge. It is a specific skill that can be used in certain situations, for example if you have to disengage and cannot keep your normal Melee GCDs rolling, that's where Harvest Moon comes into play. It's basically a 1 time harp but better. Hope that clears it up a bit!
Where do we use the Harvest Moon from the pre pull Soul sow?

are you supposed to drift the gluttony at the end? dont play reaper anymore, just curious. it says available from cd for a good 20s
yep yep, reason is because in the opener we cant do double enshroud so we use Gluttony at the start with enhanced gibbet/gallows but at 2min-4min etc. we use double enshroud during arcane circle since its more potency than gluttony etc. Its a bit unfortunate cause SE was probably trying to push a 1 enshroud burst window with the gluttony buffs but missed the mark

@HiImFox understand , but my combo always break at 6 or 7 minute . Could you at least do a 8minute rotation and let me see what I did wrong?
I assume you are breaking it during double enshroud at 6 minutes? If you have no finished your combo when going into double enshroud you need to use your combo right after Perfectio, so after the second enshroud window, before you use gluttony. Let me know if it helps

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you're enshrouding 1 gcd too late at the 2m. You don't finish the combo anymore like we used to in EW because of Perfectio creating a perfect 2m gcd loop. This also stops AC from drifting with the new rotation.
I actually do drift it on purpose there because I prefer Arcane Circle aligning better with other buffs since we pop it so early in the opener. Most classes pop their raid buffs on 3rd gcd which is later than reaper does. Not saying its better, this is just what I prefer to do for the first 2 min window
What is your GCD?
Uhh unsure, I think it was 2.48 or something along those lines
Thanks, When I was leveling reaper (92) I found that trying to use sacrificium was really clunky to use and ended up dropping the job. Perhaps my GCD was too fast cause I was constantly clipping it
fast Reaper becomes really weird, the current bis has 2.45 which already requires specific changes
@@HiImFox How do you get it to 2.48? I'm at BiS with it at 2.45 and I don't like it, I wish it was slower cuz it feels smoother. What do I need to do to achieve this?
