    D'love to see such kind of improvisation against moving opponent. She's Bagua feels a lot more natural than of all those demonstrators on Wushu competitions.

    I understand this as choreography and it is executed really well but are those gentle taps she gives to the wooden trunks really considered strikes in this martial art? Wouldn't actually practicing with real intent against the wood do more for the practitioner similar to how they do in wing chun?

      Hi there! I've practiced iron palm conditioning for a little over 30 years, and I think I can answer your question, which is a really good one by the way. Conditioning is done over a long span of time, which can take years or decades. It's done with low impact over several years. Think of a slow cooking roast, it's like that.
