I missed out on Kingdom Hearts when it first came out because I was obsessed with Gran Turismo. I tried playing KH1 with an emulator but my uncle's laptop ran PCSX2 about as well as you would expect for a basic laptop from 2011. But now that I have a gaming laptop, I'm all set to dig in.
Since june of 2020 i've been Playing all Kingdom Hearts games, now i'm in KH Dream drop distance, this is a amazing experience, now KH is my Favorite Franchise

The little creatures you can create are adorable, I love the introduction of Flomotion (that always makes me think of Flo from the Progressive commercials, lol), and that opening...I have no kdea what it is about Hikari (the orchestral version of Simple and Clean), but that opening is so beautiful, I always cry 😂. Especially when I played it on the 3DS, so the graphics were amazing to me. I guess it was just too much beauty, lol. Damn good game, might go ahead and buy one of the bundles to play it again.
The only games I played when I was a kid were KH1 and KH2. I've been nervous about jumping back in, filling the gaps, and catching up with everyone else, but this helps encourage me!

Just finished up my 6th 100% run of kingdom hearts 1! After replaying re: Chain of Memories I'll replay Kh2. I'll go through BBS again, and then I'll finally play kh3 for the first time!

I'm playing 0.2 Birth by Sleep at the moment, and I can totally say this is becoming one of my favourite series of all time.

I have the edition for ps4 that has all the games. I've made it to Halloweentown in Game one and i hate life. Lol. I loved this game playing it as a 22 year old. Loved the second one too but was totally confused as i didn't play the others. Wanted to play 3 so i thought I will get them all and play through in order...........i can't make it past this first game. So much content waiting for me. Lol.
that's really a scam, instead of taking the big all in one package they decided to pick the 4 smaller collections instead, you shouldn't have to pay about 240$ bucks if you can find it for 60 on PS

They were already going to make a kingdom hearts movie but the guy making it gave up for some reason after reading all the Manga and playing the games.
Okay, making the ending part in KH text boxes brought a smile to my face :) I've played most KH games, but I returned Re:coded as I was tired of KH1 Sora at the time. I also didn't finish Aqua's side story game in 2.8 (think I put it on a hard difficulty because that's how all the secret endings are unlocked and just found it too hard to beat or I grew tired). And lastly, I skipped the mobile game because I don't really like them and "free to play" almost always has the asterisk "pay to win" after it. And maybe I'm still a bit old school but it feels wrong to put the events of a mobile game into the main story, even if cell phones are now the cheapest of any gaming device you can purchase (usually...not talking about expensive flagship phones). Think I'm still a holdover that "mobile games aren't real games" crowd, lol. Whatever the issue is, I just didn't take to Union X or whatever its calling itself now. Happy it'll be an app that I can just read through or something, I'd much rather that. If a new mobile game comes out, I'll see about jumping on that, finally.
KH3 sucks hard tho :( The plot was all over the place- disney worlds no longer had a coherent connection to the story and were just there. The gameplay was meh with the disney rides. AND it was a way to shoehorn the secret ending for the next games...the game didnt end with any real conclusion to the questions posed in the previous games but posed more questions... frustrating!

Finally I can play KH on PC for the first time ever!!!! I just beat the first game and am playing Chain of Memories now. I'm enjoying every second!

played the entire kh franchise for the first time from february to june this year,, I don’t regret it
the plot isnt even hard to understand, its just a lot to remember.
I might try out some of the games since Sora is the last Smash fighter and coming to the Nintendo Switch
