The timing of this video was not a coincidence. I've spent the past 10 years living with my roommate and (former) best friend. I just kicked him out. He has a severe pornography, weed, sugar, caffeine, and e-sex addiction that I had been turning a blind eye to for far too long. I went through my own battle with alcohol in my past and thank God I'm sober today. Because of this, I can NOT be around the filthy energy of addiction and all that comes with it. (Lies, manipulation, avoidance, blaming, destruction.) I had been going easy on him due to our past friendship, but I see now that the friend I used to have has been dead for a long time, consumed by the addiction. Like you said, I was afraid of being alone. I don't have a family. I was an illegitimate child born to a single mother who can't even take care of herself, but it is for this very reason that I must be my own family, my own best friend. I have already progressed lightyears from where I was when I was trapped in the bottle, but I'm nowhere near where I want to be. I'm not about to betray myself and all my hard work to make someone who can't even face themself in the mirror happy. Someone who spent a decade hiding from me is not my friend. I will keep on the grind. The grind is hard, but it is true. It doesn't take any bullshit. The grind is my friend and family now.

Okey i'm humbled now, these past days i had to relearn that to be chosen has nothing to do with being overly friendly or self sacrificing. Eventually even the most old and dearest of relationships will dry out if the other person is not aligned with chosen one's standards. At the last moment it didn't even bothered me as much as i though, i just realized i've outgrown a certain person or place and now there is really nothing there but old compromises and broken dreams, but it doesn't really make me sad or angry, just disappointed, or more precisely the feeling that you just woke up from a dream so really there is no point to dwell into it. I'm not cutting off people at this point, i'm just watching slowly and peacefuly how the go away. I'm just glad and grateful that i have a loving family that caresses my emotional needs and an older brother who is an example to me, strong and disciplined, i really have no right to feel lonely or to dismiss my responsibilities in pursue of emotional entaglement. Most people must realize if their lives haven't changed a certain way is because there is still work to be done first and you are likely to have all what you need to do so at that certain moment, even if you don't see it, that is how it always is for me at least.
Living life learning the ups and downs and gaining knowledge and applying wisdom to situations learnt from past situations from yourself and others and when get to fifties get layed back and laugh at stuff you worried about in your 20s 30s 40s.the meek shall inherit the earth.👍
Rode my bike up a local pass in the mountains up here in Alaska, I saw folks in vehicles and 1 gal running with her dog when I decided to come off the mountain, nobody on a bike that far, I'm 53, I thought " Where are all the hardcores?" I have very few friends and none that do what I do, when snow hits, I put my skis on and am gone for hours, I do it alone cause most are just lazy..
