Behringer has become my go-to Brand for the last 5 years. I just ordered a Pro-800 as a remplacement for my Prophet REV2. Very thrilled for all the upcoming Synths! Oh and very glad that Patrick is back!
Sounds incredible and is pretty damn cute. I'm sure Behringer will sell tons of these. The Prophet VS is definitely a dream synth of mine. I would have preferred this particular recreation come in Behringer's standard desktop size with a least six voices and a filter for each voice, not paraphonic, which has limitations.

As great as this is, squeazing the rudiments of a VS into this size and price, there are a couple of ESSENTIAL functions you've forgotten to include. 1 - Modulation matrix. 2 - Random Patch Generator. Behringer's mantra is 'We Hear You!'. Well, I hope you hear/read this message and find it possible to include the above functions in a software update. That would make the VS Mini an essential purchase. Thanks for all your hard work.

Can it be linked to enable 8 voices from two PRO VS MINI? And, if so, can the parameters/patches "sync up" between the two units so that you would only have to edit them on one of the units? I mean, I would rather pay more than double the price for 8 voices instead of the very limiting four. Vector synthesis is a heaven for polyphonic pads and that demands much more voices!
@@biggrime For me, module only, preferably a little bit bigger (for the knobs to be bigger), but not much. It is getting cramped for me with 10 synths , five with keyboard.
This looks like great companion for M8, which badly needs some keyboard, even such limited. I wonder if it could power this thing via usb;) probably not but who knows
@@bigupz6818 Yea it could be cheaper than that . TD-3 are $150 USD and street price in Oz for $230 which is 1.5 X . Behringer stuff in OZ comes via an Oceanic warehouse so not strictly tied to the USD price . $100 USD would translate to about $150 if we use a TD-3 for comparison .

From the video, they master the sound engine , then they just have to rise the number of voices, oscillators , enveloppes and filters , and create a from factor for the full version with a keyboard or in desktop format. Giving all what they are doing orplanning, it is not osmething difficult for them, they just need the will and put the means. In short, don't be surprise if they sell the full version in the next years. If this model is a sucess, they will produce a full version, i guess.
I wonder how you connected the swing keyboard with the VS Pro Mini. I don´t see an extra power cable for either of the devices! I connected them both with a usb-c cable for power and together with a MIDI cable but it doesn´t work. To understand my problems: I´m still a beginner at making music with synthesizers.

I think it is a 4 oscillators 4 voices. For example, the microkorg is a 2 oscillators 4 voices or 4 oscillator 2 voices.
