In fact, we have other flavors that are even fruitier, like tropical, with raisins, and cherries (don't quote me on the raisins, but the cherries are there), and we also have one with dried plums and bacon with honey mustard.

There is nothing wrong with liking pineapple pizza. But it does not belong on a pizza. Taking into account the ingredients on a pizza (ergo: the cheese, garlic, oils) it does not mesh and even by professional chefs’ standards it is not something that palatably combines. Tomato is a fruit, but would you put tomato in a fruit salad. Pizza is a savoury dish, and therefore does not sit well with a fruit, which tend to be sweet. Plus, mangoes: sweet tropical fruit, yet you don’t eat those on pizza.

There is nothing wrong with liking pineapple pizza.
But it does not belong on a pizza. Taking into account the ingredients on a pizza (ergo: the cheese, garlic, oils) it does not mesh and even by professional chefs’ standards it is not something that palatably combines.
Tomato is a fruit, but would you put tomato in a fruit salad. Pizza is a savoury dish, and therefore does not sit well with a fruit, which tend to be sweet.
Plus, mangoes: sweet tropical fruit, yet you don’t eat those on pizza.
Pinnaple and ham? Nah, I'm bout that blueberry and bacon
