If you like Asterix, the theme park is great. It's barely smaller than Disneyland, the rides go harder, and the theming of the park is on point. And they introduce new rides quite regularly. The only downside is that it's not open all year. If you go for "theme", Disney is better, but if you go for "theme and rides", Asterix is superior. If you just go for rides.... go to Europa park.

Personal takeaway from this video: For the love of god, if you have the money and get the chance, explore the world- it's a hell of a place. Something on my bucket list is visiting the seven natural wonders of the world...and I just had to add a lot more places to the list.
As a guy who has lived in France all his life in a partly English family, this was very entertaining to watch. Also Parc Astérix > Disneyland Paris 100%
There's something I've always loved about people expressing how beautiful their homeland is, you can tell even under all the jokes and insults that everyone is really passionate about it. I wish I got to do it more often, but usually the second I tell someone online I'm from Texas, all they want to do is trash on "inbred rednecks", and if I try to defend Texas, I'm suddenly some kind of stupid hick. All those coastal idiots, pretending they know what the south is like, but whatever. Great video as always!
I just love how the first 5 minutes is about both of you being triggered about different stereotypes ignoring eahc other rants. 10/10 would say british are rude and french food is bad again.
The Palace of Versailles in the only building I’ve been been to where I’ve actually felt visual overload from the sheer amount of shit and detail Louis put into everything. Not everything needs so much gold carving and mirrors. But the gardens and Marie Antoinette’s house, on the other hand, are positively delightful, places that I could imagine myself actually living in.
Fair enough. On a side note, screw French strikes. I went to Paris in the middle of January 2020, and half the touristic places were closed or unavailable. It was bad enough having Notre Dame under restoration (understandably), but waking up at 6 AM (in Spain we get up at 7-8 AM on working day, so that's pretty jarring for us already) to visit the Louvre only for it to remain closed due to strikes really took the cake. It took four attempts in four consecutive days only to watch Mona Lisa, an overrated painting the sfumatto" of which is just grime the museum refuses to clean. Plus the closed underground lines, buses that came every 30 minutes, and having any plans ruined because of a lack of public transport (lines changed everyday, so no way to plan ahead), overcrowded places and reduced visiting hours everywhere.
@@leiretxu_99 1 if you enter the Louvre "only to watch Mona Lisa", go back. Liberté guidant le peuple and Radeau de la Méduse are masterpieces too, and there are beautiful friezes, fantastic sculptures, et caetera... 2 you also have to wake up at 6AM while visiting spain, otherwise you melt by simply putting your head in the street. 3 oh, i have an idea! let's send the army to be sure there are no strikes ! wonderfull isn't it ? 4 as stated in a video, there are, indeed, peoples in Paris.
I swear to god that this is the most spontaneous and cultured debate channel that I've been introduced. It's hilarious how y'all manage to be funny and intellectual at the same time! I love this kind of content, keep it up, my guy. Cheers from Brazil. ❤🇧🇷 By the way, thanks for the tourism information. Now I know where I can go to introduce Europe to my mom lol.
The two ships I remember visiting were the Cutty Sark and the HMS Belfast, both 10/10 ships. Though if you want the true British experience, go to the London Eye, then the London Dungeons, then the aquarium next to it (all three of these places are literally next to eachother btw). Then if you have time, visit one of our many great museums. We have several iconic ones to choose from, including the iconic Natural History Museum. And that’s not to mention our historic and iconic theatres, true works of art where Shakespeare once performed his plays.
Just landed from two weeks travelling the South of France. People who say the French are dicks have no idea what they are talking about. I spent the whole time sullying your lovely language with my English accent and terrible grammar and not one person stabbed me even though they probably should have. Would 100% go again, England's country scenery might be slightly better but the cities in France put ours to shame.
To be fair, not only the "French people hate bad grammar" cliché hails from Parisians most exclusively, but the South is also viewed as friendler and more open even inside of France. Also, you did the effort of trying to speak French, which a lot of people appreciate here, and which isn't something all tourists are willing to do.
Personally I think both countries are fantastic, but I would KILL to visit Japan in my life. It’s one of the oldest countries in the world and is simply breathtaking to look at. Things like Osaka Castle, The Arashiyama Bamboo Forrest, Mount Fuji, The Island Shrine of Itsukushima and many more are just breathtaking to see. It’s sad that most people just associate it with anime (I live in America, but boy I hate it) when it’s so much more.
I think China may be more interesting to visit (and cheaper) Good food, better landscape, better monuments, good culture and they are developing their tourist attractions a lot ( soft power you know). But it's like France or Italy even if you take a lot of time it will be hard to visit everything at once and there are a lot of restrictions due to covid. Southeast Asia is very good also for its price and the people are nice .
Great video again, FC. Also, if you don’t mind sharing, can I ask about your choice words about “American romance” at the beginning? That was pretty heavy condemnation. (Also I’m pretty sure it was Japanese tourists who were the catalyst for ‘Paris Syndrome’ but I could be wrong).
They probably mean the media representation of romance that Hollywood portrays. Still stereotypical tho, but does influence a good number of people's unrealistic expectations of romance
Looking at the comparisons. I think it maybe because British architecture is over represented but a good deal of the palaces and other fancy vistas to look rather plain. French architecture certainly holds a great degree of majesty in its architecture and its mountainous terrain. England on the flipside holds a far more relaxed, cozy and rustic vibe. The last word by no means is an insult. The countryside is indeed gorgeous and comfy in comparison to France. Meanwhile in America you gotta head really far west to experience beautiful nature that even compares. The big cities have just deteriorated really bad since the 60s.
So FC showed better looking places, but Bowl was better at describing the places he showed, conclusion? I need to visit more places, I live in Britain and I hadn't even heard of most the places Bowl mentioned.
I love the slower pace when showing pics of different places, it allows the viewer to *actually* consider the picture and let the mind go wild. oh and uh - HELL YEAH CHAMONIX AND ANNECY LAKE GOOD JOB FC
French makes an excuse for coldness and the British makes an excuse for their lack of spices, and Americans make an apology for bringing both of those up while eating a hot dog

Little did we realize that 20:59 was actually the _start_ of FC summoning _fucking_ *Exodia!* Jesus Christ! (Granted it took a minute to get the final pieces out there, but it still works.)
As someone who has visited France before, I must say: you gotta visit Italy, it's the coolest place for sure. Though you'd expect the travel to be cheaper since they're closer together... It's not.
Awesome video, loved to see the beautiful places. But if it all came from "mean people, awesome food" vs "nicer people, terrible food", then y'all should come to Brazil. We are a welcoming people who like to treat outsiders nicely, and our food is just awesome. A continental country where you can see different biomes, know very different cultures, and taste many types of cuisine, all really well-made. Just don't come to Rio, you may get shot
I love how most of the video is Bowl and FC talking about how much they love their countries, showing many beautiful images of talking about the histories behind them. Then the rest of the video is Bowl and FC trash talking the other person's country.
Was that whole song or whatever Bowl did at the end just a really, really long way of saying "go make me a sandwich"? Because it feels like it. And that's impressive.
I used to live in Paris when I was little. And while I was there, my mother would take me and my brothers to looong walks through the city while explaining to us the centuries's old history behind the buildings and the monuments we were seeing. From the most forgotten statues in dark squares to the world known monuments. And even though I didn't pay attention at the time, I'm really grateful to her when I think back at it. And the way you were describing the beauty of our capital (even though some places in Paris are shitholes) truly reminded me of her. Your video reminded me that I'd like to visit the world someday, it must have so much places with breath taking sights and history to deliver...
this taught me more about france and england than the entirety of history class also i pick england they don't eat snails edit: faux cares is an amazing photographer
I wanted to add: I will side with Faux on this one. France is infinetly more interesting. I wasn't in Paris, but I was in Nice and Montpellier. Just those two cities are infinetly better than entirety of London. In London, only Buckingham palace was interesting, but besides that... nah man. London may have rich history but I feel it's lost it's way somewhere. Way before brexit even, it felt so.. fake, like it was trying to show off instead of actually be interesting. I feel like Bowl didn't really show any arguments as to why I should visit England again. Don't get me wrong, the guy is great and all, but taking a serious look at this conversation, seeing how Faux gave most of the worthwhile things to see /JUST IN PARIS/ and seeing Bowl reach out of London to pull ANYTHING to have argument against Faux, was really eye opening and I should visit Paris asap.
what a fantastic video, the editing, the phrasing, the perfectly timed jokes... you know what? This video made me think, when i got Europe in going to..... Spain.
No idea what the ending was a reference to, but it was hilarious, I really ought to go and watch more of the France vs. England videos, they were earlier ones so I always ended up missing them, but it was really cool to learn about all this stuff in both places.

Being born in England to French parents and never having been to neither Paris nor London, this was a very instructive and entertaining video Thank you for the quality content
The whole video was just the "Look at this photograph" vine, and I couldn't be happier about it. I'm always just heavily focusing on surviving, so I never had the chance to look anywhere. I hope that I get lucky enough to visit either place in the future
I'm glad I can pinpoint where every picture in Annecy was taken (as a local). Thanks for showcasing it, although during summer it is already hell to drive around thanks to the massive amount of tourists, it's always nice to see the place where you live being put forward (sorry for bad english)
This video made me miss Europe so much. As an Air Force kid who grew up in Germany, I spent my whole childhood touring all over the place, including some of the places in this video (Mount Saint Michael is absolutely stunning, btw) and after moving to the states, the loss of history and culture was immediately noticeable. Not to say the states don’t have anything, but as part of our history involved tearing down historic cities to make way for ugly roads because of our obsession with cars, we lost a lot of what we have. Although I can thoroughly recommend both of the countries discussed in this video, I have to say that Germany has probably just as many landmarks and beautiful sights (Both man-made and natural) so Caffeina probably won’t have to even go far to see some amazing things.
I'm with Caffeina on this one: that is a trash heap! And not one worth staring at for any other reason than the fact that it looks haunted in that picture. Reminds me of Cadillac Ranch in Texas. A place where old, rusted Cadillacs are half-buried in the ground & people are encouraged to spray paint them... I'm saying if you like staring at rust & rot, then both that trash heap and the trash heap in my trash heap of a country are for you 🙄🤭.

i don't know about most of the world but Ive read Asterix my entire life. my dad collects them and always enjoys rereads. i never knew a Asterix theme park even existed!
i don't speak for everyone but this is the main reason i love watching yer videos FC, you introduce us things that are wildly interesting and fun. the entire Mexican food debate has left me so curious now, i shall wait till travel restrictions let up so that i can visit Paris and experience the asterix theme park!!!
I still have an Asterix comic from when I was a kid
I like how this debate was just 2 people yelling at someone for insulting thier country(at the start)
It's really crazy how you guys can just list off places and historical events like you just experienced them, meanwhile I grew up being taught about Columbus in elementary school only to truly learn about his horrific misdeeds in highschool.
I didn't even learn about them until *COLLEGE*. That means a lot of Americans don't know what Columbus did or about how much the Disney movies they grew up watching get wrong.
@@ryuken10 it's actually crazy, I didn't really care for history class until the reached highschool when we ended up knowing the full scope of what really happened and while learning the truth, why bother teaching kids that at all if they won't get the full story until they're way older.
@@trainerrichard6859 mostly because it establishes a foundation. Also, side note, it’s important to judge them by their time. Granted, Columbus was insane even by their standards, but with most people, they’re technically a victim of their time.
@@lojika1majik is a foundation even worth it if you don't even have the full the story. It's kinda insane how this guy basically commits genocide and gets a whole holiday for it. In my opinion if you need to sugar coat the truth so kids can learn it, then you probably shouldn't be teaching them about it.
@@trainerrichard6859 it is.
I struggle to take sides in a France v England argument considering I have parents of both nationalities, but if anything, it shows me there's plenty of both countries I still need to visit.
And both FC and Bowl's debating skills are second to none. Glad to have discovered FBI
Personal takeaway from this video:
For the love of god, if you have the money and get the chance, explore the world- it's a hell of a place. Something on my bucket list is visiting the seven natural wonders of the world...and I just had to add a lot more places to the list.
They may not be intellectuals or geniuses, but they certainly know their history and places on their own countries.
Also top 10 betrayals: 39:08
As a guy who has lived in France all his life in a partly English family, this was very entertaining to watch.
Also Parc Astérix > Disneyland Paris 100%
“A few years ago I saw two men there, dragging a woman into a car trunk, and I did nothing to stop it” caught me way off guard fucking hell bowl 😂😂
So true
That is with the south is like
I just love how the first 5 minutes is about both of you being triggered about different stereotypes ignoring eahc other rants.
This implies you can live without plumbing
@@Wheagg They can, just not too well, Wheatley.
@@Voc_spooksauce bruh I'd explode in like 5 days from holding it
And so the trilogy continues with another marvelous entry of back and fourth between FC and Bowl in the discord!
As a Spaniard, Paris is the best choice. It has Disneyland.
Unfortunately, it also has parisians.
Screw Disneyland.
@@frenchbaguetteintelligence Didney Wol.
Come to think of it, London didn't give me such headaches while visiting, so I might change my response above. Or I would, if they had actual food
You are part of the "overcrowded" of someone else.
As an Italian, I'm waiting Italy vs France. Love to you French, our cousins. Also by watching this video I understood more about how these languages are similar, I mean Italian and French even if it is kinda different from the other romance languages as sounds imo. Also that video was great in my opinion because I am studying in an Art focused school.
Ma alla fine quando Caffeina ha detto di voler andare in Italia è stato troppo bello ahahahha. Siamo il paese più bello dopo tutto
@@riccardocirielli Concordo.
To be fair, Spanish also has the division of casual and respectful second person pronoun. I think that's common in romance languages
@@sasir2013 Yeah, I studied Spanish in middle school.
@@sasir2013 Portuguese does too, both brazilian and Portugal's. So yeah you're probally correct that at least most romance-like languages use it :)
"bowl likes it hard" made me choke on air, I was NOT prepared for that
I swear to god that this is the most spontaneous and cultured debate channel that I've been introduced. It's hilarious how y'all manage to be funny and intellectual at the same time!
I love this kind of content, keep it up, my guy. Cheers from Brazil. ❤🇧🇷
By the way, thanks for the tourism information.
@@martindouge1947 Just don't go to Marseille
Yes, another typical French vs. English debate!
Finally, another part in the greatest cinematic trilogy of all time
Bowls "Thanks Fatty" made me laugh like I haven't in years, and that might be an understatement.
I actually got to visit Japan back in 2019 when I graduated from high school. I wanna go back again in the future.
14:58
Lol, millions of people in Canada have french as their mother tongue, and both Québec and New-Brunswick have french as their official language.
quebec is full of idiots
I've actually gone to France last summer. I visited Paris and Lyon. It was really fun.
The big cities have just deteriorated really bad since the 60s.
ny is great
So FC showed better looking places, but Bowl was better at describing the places he showed, conclusion?
I need to visit more places, I live in Britain and I hadn't even heard of most the places Bowl mentioned.
I love the slower pace when showing pics of different places, it allows the viewer to *actually* consider the picture and let the mind go wild.
oh and uh - HELL YEAH CHAMONIX AND ANNECY LAKE GOOD JOB FC
French makes an excuse for coldness and the British makes an excuse for their lack of spices, and Americans make an apology for bringing both of those up while eating a hot dog
Italy won by being the strong silent type
>Video starts with both Bowl and FC taking the biggest huffs of copium I have ever seen
Oh yeah. This is gonna be good.
i see this guys point and arguments and how amazing he is at comebacks, and how absolutely educated he is aswell. And i cant help but someday hope i can be as good as him at making such great arguments/comebacks.
Little did we realize that 20:59 was actually the _start_ of FC summoning _fucking_ *Exodia!* Jesus Christ!
(Granted it took a minute to get the final pieces out there, but it still works.)
If italy was in this argument, italy would 1. stick with France or England then betray them lol
Nah Italy would have just defeated them both
Good lord, never stop making these, please.
15:14
"That was just distasteful, mate."
Seeing Bowl get serious made me shiver a little
As someone who has visited France before, I must say: you gotta visit Italy, it's the coolest place for sure. Though you'd expect the travel to be cheaper since they're closer together... It's not.
"London has more pubs than it has teeth"
"French pastries are way too soft"
I'm sure there's a correlation there somewhere
"It's like getting a pizza in Italy, *robbed* in Romania, or having your prostate massaged in France."
Bowl has the best blursed friend energy.
This has gotta be one of the best episodes to date, now I'm hyped to see more historic places around the world!
I wish I had the international friends and power to spark arguments about tourism. I could get so many desktop backgrounds
6:24 "robbed in Romania"
I just let out a glass shattering laugh.
Somehow it has never happened to me doe. unless we are talking 2nd grade.
dude this is probably your best video so far i almost died of laughter at the end holy shit lmao

“THIS is a clock.”
“Dear god.”
“There’s more.“
“No…”
Ah, still men of culture I see.
But please, come to Europe, give us your money
18:23 I wheezed for 3 minutes straight. I shall not apologize for my broken humour
Oh boy, I'm ready to see a bri'ish man and a snail eater dissing each other
Man, I started watching your vids like a week ago and this is top tier comedy. And educational as well. Keep it up
this taught me more about france and england than the entirety of history class
also i pick england they don't eat snails
edit: faux cares is an amazing photographer
I wish y'all did more of these tourism comparison debates, I love seeing new places to put on my bucket list!! I've never seen half of these!
I died of laughter when you made Phoenix (Faux Cares) smash the desk multiple times XD
I wanted to add:
I will side with Faux on this one.
Spain.
I feel like I should say that I am still stuck on how it is legal to shoot Scotts with a crossbow in England.
it's legal for someone to do it once, then it would swiftly be made illegal
No idea what the ending was a reference to, but it was hilarious, I really ought to go and watch more of the France vs. England videos, they were earlier ones so I always ended up missing them, but it was really cool to learn about all this stuff in both places.
Not gonna lie, everytime i watch this man's videos i learn something new. Keep at it with the fire videos FC
Just a few minutes into the video and the two Europeans are already hating on Americans. I love it.
"the only rubbish dump here is your c..."
And now, a word from our sponsors
Aw great video, reminded me why I need to catch up on your content.
As a Brit was obviously rooting for Bowl, but you nearly won my over FC!
Good video
I feel like you guys set Caffena up for failure, like she’s probably never gonna be able to decide on where to go on vacation
As an American I wish I could apologize for Disneyland... but the mouse would find me and I'd not be seen again.
Being born in England to French parents and never having been to neither Paris nor London, this was a very instructive and entertaining video
Thank you for the quality content
Caffeina strategy for getting traveling tips by making FC and Bowl fight is a pretty smart move.
Its finally here!
Me, a pokemon fan watching this video : Hey, so that's where this one place in Kalos is based on. Neat.
In both countries, i will not deny that history is absolutely everywhere and omnipresent.
"You really are not like the other girls, are you?"
God I love Bowl hahaha.
7:20 was annihilation. sweet goodness I love this channel
