- What's up everyone! Today we installed a complete lip kit (front lip, side skirts, & rear lip) on the Civic. It took a little finessing, but it turned out awesome!

Looking fresh! I would say if you wanted to do the jdm front emblem with mesh grill. You could Do the 2004-2005 face lift. Where the coupe version came with a mesh grill and There's a jdm emblem that fits perfectly in the blank spot. But you would have to change the fenders, bumper and headlights too.

I have a 2011 Subaru Legacy 2.5 premium sedan it’s also manual transmission. Do you think a front back and side skirt would look nice on it.
A black spoiler would look really good on your Honda
Would all of them fit a 2004 honda civic 2door
I believe only the side skirts would work since Honda refreshed the front and rear of the Civic EM2's for 2004-2005
There is no USDM for Japanese products. There's JDM (Japanese Domestic Market), and everywhere is an export market. Kit looks sick though =)

Nice videos man, been following the civic updates since i also got one with 240k miles, planning some tunes on that its a 1.7 vtec in black tho, the paint job is a bit worse than yours, but i really want to lower it and throw some wheels and propper exhaust, are you plannin on doing that also? keep up the good work :)

Just a question what is the tape used for? Is it so that the lip/skirts stay on the car before you drill the holes?
The tape is used to hold it up in the middle, and keep it tight against the rocker.
I think no emblem it looks more aggressive I love side skirts the lips are good

I don’t think the front or rear lip would work, but the side skirt should be useable for your year.
I have the same side skirts but mine aren't as straight and clean inside like your pair. Its wavy on the top edges and rough/raw inside the skirts.
Also, 3m double sided automotive tape isnt sticking after cleaning the inside.
Anytips?
To get the side skirts to straighten out I'd try sitting them in the sun, so they can get hot and flatten out. As for the tape not sticking, clean the side skirts with soap and water (Dawn dish soap usually works best) to strip away any of the mold release agents in the plastic. That should help the 3m tape to stick. If it still doesn't stick, then you can try and use some adhesion promoter sponge applicators on the skirts and the tape should stick just fine. You should be able to find the adhesion promoter at most auto parts stores, or Amazon.

The skirts will be the last and final edition to the car since ive hit the limit on what i can physically do the car as well as budget wise.
What I currently have installed on the car rn are a K&N short ram intake, Greddy RS Evo 4in muffler, ep3 lowerimg springs, Front Lip splitter, amd Bronze TE37 reps(Rota grid classics in 15x6.5 +38 offset wrapped in 205/50/15 Federal RS-RR street slicks up front and hankook ventus v2s in the rear).
I have two more items that ive already bought but arent here yet because of covid19 shenanigans. Manufacturing/shipping delays.
Custom fab Uel exhaust manifold and a Kaminari KTR2 Spoiler.
Also since this is my first car I nvr thought i was going to sink this much into her lol.
But yea my wallet hurts but i love my EM2. K swap is out of the question but possible, i wouldn't mind a turbocharged K20C from the new type r since the exhaust is reversed unlike other k20/k24s. Its a worthy investment that i might think in the future.

I don't think these pieces will fit a 98 Civic. It's all designed for the 7th generation 01-05 Civic.

I read online that the 2001-2003 em2’s are way different then the 2004-2005 em2’s. Is this 100% true?
The 04-05 civic are a slightly different body style from the 01-03. You’d have to find a different lip that fits the different rear bumper.

It was an automatic, but if you look through my channel you'll see I ended up manual swapping it. I would've rather started with a manual from the beginning, but because this em2 was in such good condition, with low miles, and I could get it for a decent price. I decided to pick it up and modify it, and eventually manual swap it.
