This is a great tutorial! I used this as a guide to install my own fog lights on a 2002 civic. The only thing I did differently is to wire the switch on the left of the steering column. There’s another pop out panel there as well and it feels like more of a natural location to have lighting controls. I put my seat heater switches where you guys put the switch :) thanks for the great videos!
hi 1A auto i just followed this tutorial and im pleased with the little details that are added here, i would like to offer little tip into making this that much cleaner of a install i completed this install by tucking the wires into the front crash bar instead of running them ontop of the radiator support ,i was able to get the fog light wires coming out of each side of the crash bar and then running the relay and power wire thru the crash bar coming out of the passenger side hole same as fog light wire i ran.. the whole harness is in the crashbar, i wrapped up the whole crashbar with wide scotch tape just like the piece of tape thats holding up the foam on front of the crash bar i just wrapped it all the way around so the harness cant fall out into the front of the radiator/condenser , now with the ground wire thats on the driverside of the harness i was able to find a bolt just to the left of the driver side light like 2 inches away from it so i tapped the ground into it there, power wire/relay/switchwire was ran the thru same hole next to fender and ran to the fuse box just as instructed, the rest of the installation was exactly the same way( power wire tapping into cigarette lighter) but instead of running the switch to the middle console with cigarette lighter i ran it thru to the mirror/cruise control assembly on the left side of the steering wheel. thanks to this tutorial video you made i was able to get my fog lights installed on my 2004 honda civic GX and with the little tips i put above the harness and lights were installed super clean all tucked in like a pro and i cant be happier with my install, thanks again 1A Auto you made my day !!!!
If that switch were recessed just a LITTLE bit more, it would look convincingly OEM. I'm looking to buy an 04 Civic and if I get it, I'm definitely buying this kit!
I have never seen the center console taken apart like. I have an 04 civic EX sedan that when I bought it, my rear cup holder is broken out. IF you guys could do a breakdown of the complete console that would be fucking amazing
I did the positive wire to the positive cigarette wire and it works but when I plugged in my charger to the cigarette lighter with the fog lights on it blew the fuse. This was on a 2003 Honda Element any idea why it did that? I have it working now just not using the cigarette lighter until I can figure out why it does that any help would be appreciated
@@jeremycarldaigo8768 cigarette lighter fuse keeps blowing with fog lights tapped into it so I took it off no problems ever since. But now I need to find a accessory wire all I can think of is my radio accessory wire but I have 2 amps tapped into it already I'm wondering if I put the fog lights also if it will blow aswell I don't know
I installed these as in the video and then I notice my led light strips connected to the (cigarette lighter) started to flicker not on and off but like pulsing. Then I notice my dome interior lights did the same and also my trunk light. Any ideas what could be wrong?
i had pulsing headlights and interior lights on my 03 ex and for a while i had been assuming it was an alternator issue, sure enough i tested my alternator and it wasn’t putting out the proper voltage(14-14.2ish) to compensate and charge the battery, replaced the alternator solved the issue. Might not be the same case for you but i figured i might as well share and see if it could help
I followed these instructions to install fog lights and I have a problem now with my civic horn. It stopped working after installing fog lights. Any ideas what might have happened ?
Does this kit come with that extension wire you had connected to the yellow wire? If not, where would I be able to buy that wire and what is it called?
There are much easier and more effective/safer and professional ways to wire things up to a car rather than splicing into already existing components. There are fusible links that go directly into the fuse panel so your wiring is all clean and together, plus it would be fused so if something blows there would be no issues.
+Elisio Lopez We would be more than happy to work with you on this. Can you please contact us at 888-844-3393 or service@1aauto.com and we can help you directly. Thank you!
+blue-Chaosis Thanks for watching! The fog lights in this video are meant to go on models that did not come with fog lights originally from factory. These will not work for your application if you have factory fog lights.
1A Auto Parts Regardless of how i put the switch in, it still pops forward out of the socket... Also the kit didn’t come with any screws to secure the housings onto the bumper. What size was used in this video?

OMG how did you go about installing the heated seats?
This is the best video I've came across for fog lights installation. You made it easy
Good video. Only I think Im gonna add a rocker switch instead of running that positive wire to that power source
💯 YOU GUYS HAVE LITERALLY HELPED ME AND A MILLION OTHER PEOPLE WITH YOUR HOW TO VIDEOS.... THANK YOU FROM ME AND THE CAR NATION

Jan 22 y me arrepiento de no haber encontrado este video antes, que excelente manera de explicar, un sub más
do you have a video for a 01 hyundai elantra
Could you power a small light bar using the fuse box power source
Sometimes a cheap relay can fry the entire harness ...

As always... a top notch tutorial. You guys are my go to. Thank you!
So bumper removal is required, might as well get a now one ,mine is kind of mess up😅
That air filter doesn't look so good.
Does anybody know where I can find that red double barrel connector

the positive red wire he connect to the cigarrete is the yellow, he just added extension on the yellow wire

@@1AAuto it turns out the horn cable had a lot of tension on it, all i did was make it loose and it worked. Thank you guys
Does the fog lights come with everything as far as wiring?
I believe so, yes

The switch for my fog light won’t stay in. It just falls out the front and I can’t understand how it mounts in. Any ideas?
Hi can you do video for honda CR-V 2016 fog light aftermarket thanks
+hussam juneed We do not have a video for this repair right now, but we'll keep this request in mind for a future video! 1AAuto.com
It is basically the same the only difference would be the location of the light and switch.
HI, WHAT KIND OF POWERFLOW IS .. PLEASE...
Excellent presentation with clear and concise explanations. It really is that easy. Thanks so much!
How much would this be if I got it done professionally?
Would this work on a 2003 Acura RSX Type S?
Wow. I want to do this for my 2005 Honda Civic Coupe Dx.

If you go straight and not all around the radiator you shouldn't have to use extra wire! But good explanation! Thanks
Any plans to change out that upper tie bar ground? Looks like a horse's tail.
Any videos for a 2003 Honda Accord
I purchased your fog light kit from the website but found out that the fog light switch doesnt fit into the center like in the installation video

how do i make them turn off automatically when my high beams turn on? i can’t pass inspection because they are a completely different circuit.
My bumper won’t come off is it the same procedure for the sedan ?
Where is your bumper getting stuck?
What if you have a Acc wire?
Would the cigarette lighter still be able to charge your phone?
I don’t understand the metal clips.. one end is bigger than the other and won’t go all the way thru.. can you explain this?
Put the clip on over the plastics. Put the screw through the clip. The bottom of the screw needs to go through the small end of the clip.
Great video
Can you work on my civic
When he says that the red cable isn’t far enough and connects to the black???? So I gotta get a instention or what???
Any reason why my switch fits all ugly?
