Before becoming Protestant I was a nieve Catholic (was baptised & did Communion & confirmation) was drawn by the care of Pentacostals in my area and got to more the bible
and more......but as I kept hearing them knocking the priests, the Pope and the Church and becoming dis-satisfied spiritualy , Doctrines. etc and more!
So I left and eventually came back home to stay at my Apostolic Catholic Church. AMEN!! The personal relationship with Jesus Christ having the Eucharist every sunday at the mass.

Just subscribed to your channel, Carl. I am in a state of strengthening my Catholic Faith. I am basically a cradle Catholic but as I experience the world around me and encountered Protestants inviting me to their congregations,…and, like you, encountered many of their “protests” against the Catholic Church. I just kept quite with all their noises but, would answer back politely that I would refer back to my Parish Priest about the passage in the Bible that they gave me. The Protestants thought and assumed that we pray on idols because of the many sacred images and decorations that the Catholics have in their Church and that of their homes, and I may not be that good in spouting the Bible verses automatically, but, I will tell my Protestant friends that what they assumed were not true at all.

Greetings from El Salvador. I just saw Jim's powerful testimony and it really fills me with hope knowing that, if God wants, if He works, even a lost case can find Grace to recover and save the beauty and tenderness of God's Love. I am the father of an addict and it really breaks my heart to see my beloved son trapped by this terrible demon and it destroys me inside to see myself so helpless. I only ask God to have mercy on me, and to free my son from that addiction. I trust that it will be so. Amen.

@Selin Trigueros I'm sorry you and your son are going through this period of trial. It is so difficult to watch your grown child struggle while you feel helpless. Trust that this period of trial is part of his journey to Christ. Read the Diary of a Soul (about St. Faustina) and pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy for your son. Jesus' mercy is unfathomable. Place your son in His merciful hands and trust Him to do the work in your son's life. "Jesus, I trust in You." Peace, brother.☦

I am very fortunate to hear Mother Teresa speak when I was 13 years old, a student in Goa. I recall even then, feeling so inspired and filled with the spirit. I immediately thought, this is a living, walking talking saint. I was seated in the aisle seat and when she walked past me, putting my hand out and touched her white saree and felt so blessed. I was totally in awe of her, her work, her faith, her holiness.

Haha that's basically how and why I came up with that name; to poke fun at the protest-ants.
When I was younger, a die-hard, arrogant and prideful Protestant almost dragged me out of the Catholic Church because I did not know my faith and he knew the Bible way better than I did but God had another plan and within a year-and-a-half of him working on me very hard with all his classic anti-catholic propaganda he decided to convert to Catholicism and admitted to me what he was originally trying to do.
It's also for all those sometimes well-meaning but very irritating protest-ants that I use to constantly get into debates with or that continually bash the Catholic Church and our mother the Blessed Virgin Mary.
I don't even argue with them anymore because it's a complete waste of time.

So I can relate 100%.... And now when I look at kids that are 12 it amazes me that I lived through that part of my “childhood” at all...in the 60s early 70s

Dear Lord, what a blessing to know that through James’s lifelong struggles, you were always there by his side. I pray for James father and mother. I pray that James continues to be faithful and the give generously of the spiritual gifts you have given him. The kingdom of heaven is at hand, we rejoice in that truth, with childlike faith. Kids forgive easy, so lets Forgive like a kid. FLAK. I pray this in Jesus name. Amen.

I was always in trouble at school. I was always giving the teacher a hard time and custom out the teacher I'm not feeling for doing that now. I'm age 66 if I had to go back and time. I would a treat at my teacher's with respect. Because I learned the teacher's do not get paid for some of the things that they have to do before the school year begins. They come on their own time and I didn't know that so much they do for a kids. I wish I would have done the right thing. It my If my dad was alive today couldn't like. Then it went to the Catholic church that I'm a practicing Catholic. This is the first time I'm learning what the what we believe is catholics. I didn't know that eucharistic is the Body and blood of Jesus Christ. I've thought it was a symbol but he is not Father Mike what's the one that got me to come back listen to all his topics? When did the things I'm doing ago to my parish a third week of each month? Bible study for men.. Most of us listen to further Mike Bible in the year.. I can tell that my cousin didn't like that I'm going to the Catholic church. My cousin is a Baptist.. I enjoy going to mass heavy Sunday. I'd like listen to the priest and what his messages. In portaking. Eucharistic

I wish I learned my lessons sooner than life.. I will go to stores and steel alcohol. It took me until I? Was? How's the adult to stop doing those type of things? And the biggest problem I was hanging around the wrong crowd. And I regret that it's one of the things that I said to the priest a confession. I told him everything. It is 48 years, a stuff I brought to the priest. I'm going once a month to confession since I did 48 years of confession. Took the longest time to do all the confessions. I put it on my phone so I wouldn't forget.
