That never happened ever be it Pokemon DBZ etc. And it was not like it was very limited opening. All the toy stores had good 3-4shelves full of them and all got swept. Transformers was my favorite as a kid;it still is. Aside from that, I was also fortunate enough to have a lot of the 200X Masters of the universe, 2003, TMNT and a good amount of Bionicle toys. Nowadays, I mostly just stick with Transformers, Godzilla/Kaiju and Scream masks & costumes.
For me, when I was a kid, it was the Robot Wars toys. I had a lot of them from the pullbacks to the minibots and more. I even had the video games. I still love Robot Wars to this day!
@@MrSkullMerchant Nice! I had to get rid of many of my pull backs and i'm still slightly sad about that. I'm 26 but they meant a lot to me especially with my Autism. I still have Hypno-Disc, Dantomkia, Growler and I think Sir Killalot.
I would personally also include B-Daman and Bakugan as childhood staple toys. I wish B-Daman was more popular than what it actually was, especially the anime.
Dang.. this video made me recall all those fun memories I had 20 yrs ago.. now toys are more complex that before cooler, but I still miss the simpler things and fun it bought to me back then.
If I had to choose, I would pick the RoboRaptor. Since Robosapien helped put the toy manufacturer WowWee on the map, RoboRaptor caught my eye for the most part because of the love for dinosaurs and more.

I was a child at least until the middle of the decade of the 2000s as a result of being born in 1992. It was the last decade of wanting toys in children. I enjoy history so I am so happy to see videos like this.
Did anyone just had a smile on their face and joy just watching this video. Throwback to old school 2000 comercials . A time bwfore all kids olay with toys n not wanting phones n tabs.
I miss Bionicles. I still have the movies. But some pieces for the Bionicles I bought are missing. Other than those Beyblades, Mighty Beans and Geomag were my childhood.
Oooh, the Bionicles! I remember those! I had the green-colored one, and maybe also the red one! Also, when I was in elementary school, they did have a small amount of those Geomag sticks and magnets.
Though not listed here (and debatable if it even counts as a toy since some stores classify them as one), Yu-Gi-Oh cards were my thing in the 2000s right next to OG Beyblade.
I was born in the 90s, but I was also a kid of the 2000s. I remember all these awesome toys. Seeing them in the toy lines at retail stores and asking my mom and dad to by them for me. I really miss the 90s, but I'd love to return to this era too
I was born in the 90s too, born in February 1994. I'm a early 2000s kid. I miss being a kid back then in the early 2000s. I used to watch Powerpuff Girls, Ed, Edd n Eddy, Cow and Chicken, Dexter's Laboratory, Johnny Bravo and other shows from Cartoon Network way back in the late 90's and early 2000s when I was little. I remember going to toys r us store looking at toys and video games. I wish we could go back in time.
@@jonasbrothersrockist all those cartoons you mentioned are on MAX streaming service. You're right. I wish I could go back to that Era. It was the Golden Age of Cartoons and Toys. We can bond over that
Some people were lucky, whenever I asked mom or dad for a toy while I was a kid it was always the same answer.. "we can't afford it" yet they were able to afford booze, drugs an lottery tickets.. they cared much more bout themselves rather than me or my siblings.
I’m liking this just for nostalgia cause i personally remember most of these, I would argue Yugioh cards should be included as honorable mentions as well let’s and Go cars which were more fun than hot wheels.
So many many great toys in the 2000's. Lightsabers, Transformers from the Unicron Trilogy, Beyblades, and of course Bionicle I loved those. BRING IT BACK LEGO!!!
I haven't had anything like that toy, but okay, I was also a child back in the good old 1970's, and on the other hand, I got to experience the ❤coolest 1980's music❤ as a teenager
I wish I could go back to the 80s where I was born, and again collect the toys I had enjoyed and the ones I wish I collected when I had the chance. Not to mention, getting a chance to watch the good shows they had back then, and the joy and magic of 2D hand-drawn animation.
I started collecting bionicle again back in 2020 aside from the nostalgia I was also able to build creations I could not even imagine was possible as a kid, its a toy that changes as you age
as a kid I never got to play lego because we were poor, I used to play it when my classmates brought some... now as an adult I have now many collections of them.
No FurReal Friends and Matchbox? Really? FurReal Friends are toy lines that are basically just electronic plush animals and Matchbox toy lines are similar to Hot Wheels. BTW, gotta love 2000s toy lines! Much better than 2010s and beyond toy lines like Shopkins, Lalaloopsy and Rainbow High.
I thought this video was for me since I grew up in the early 2000's but no I was more into laate 80's and 90's toys, except for bionicle. That was one of lego's greatest theme

the beyblades and the uglydolls
Transformers, they got super popular after the first live action film.

As a mother who raised three kids in this era, I agree and so many memories. I would argue that Thomas the Tank Engine was a big one as well.
Oh yes. Before video games, Thomas and other wooden train sets were all I had for my life's first 3 years.
The 2000s was my childhood.....
Bakugan (original and reboots) should have been up there.
2000s Kids, the last era of children playing toys...
Agreed, now kids are on their phones playing games and lacking social skills.
Sooo true! They don’t use their imagination like we used to!
I’m so glad I was able to spend my childhood in this decade they were the fondest and memorable years of my life living a simpler era
Ah yes, the toys from the 2000s showed how much of a simpler time it was two decades ago.

When it comes to beyblades . The best thing about them is when you have battles with your friends. Thats probably one of the reasons why i like them.
I still carry my Galaxy Pegasus with me where ever I go. That bey has been with me for most of my teen life!
Bakugan not getting a spot on this list is a complete and utter crime.
