I was born in '03 and had a TV in my room when I was little. I remember spending my evenings with my sister watching VHS tapes. Rewinding tapes, parts of the video looking a little off, specials that were recorded years prior. Scooby Doo Where are You with "bonus features", the original TMNT and the live action movies, Big Blue House, that one Barney Christmas Special we would watch year round. Now you can't find any TV that plays them anymore. Not cheap one, anyway. We still have a bunch of tapes but can't do anything with them. It's kinda sad, knowing I'll probably never get to watch those movies again. They're right there, the movies and TV shows I loved, but I can't do anything with them, so they just get more and more dusty. Sorry for the long comment, just feeling a little nostalgic. We really did live in the end of VHS but beggining of DVD era.
It honestly felt like companies had a personality. The sounds, the logo's, the things they added that nobody really asked for, yet they still included. Which we of course appreciated.
Ah, I hate the fact that I used to look forward to being an adult. I’m starting to take on all those responsibilities. I never used to understand the phrase appreciate being a kid while you still are one. I just remember my brothers and I playing wii sports, accidentally throwing the wii remote during bowling. Even watching Boomerang late at night until our parents caught us being up. It was such simple things but something I genuinely miss.
@Crimson Outdoors Co. What a stupid comment. The point of being a kid is to learn, have fun and have minimal responsibilities. You can't tell me you knew how to pay taxes, handle finances, find a stable job at the age of 9.
@Crimson Outdoors Co. hope you never have kids, you’ll be making them cook their own dinners at the age of 5, book doctors appointments and invest in stocks

I never even saw that, I mean I guess I can say I was a kid. Who would be playing flash games on a Windows 7 computer. Some how I also oddly miss Adobe Flash Player.
The THX one still has me reaching for a remote as if I’m still like 8 sitting on my couch late at night and suddenly it appears on the tv at max volume

Thanks for the memories, there!
Many of these? Not buying it. By the time you were able to form memories it was 2012-2013. Many of these weren’t around, unless your family is using 10+ year old tech and culture.
@@BadMannerKoreamate I’m in the exact same boat as this fellow here. Though I won’t disclose my actual date of birth (for obvious reasons) I know practically all of these sounds from my childhood. And it’s simply because, even in the early 2010s, plenty of people still used tech from the 2000s. Many of this stuff only really disappeared closer to 2020, at least in my area.
@@borgthepig lol, you're not using dial up internet in 2020, even in 2013. The "You wouldn't steal a car" only appeared in theaters from 2004-2008, and some DVD's. Does it count if I give my children an original Nintendo and play rerun content on television?
@ though I have never seen the piracy ad, I have seen, numerous times might I add, many of these. 20th century fox, the sony/Colombia ad, the TXH intro, Disney fast play, Wii sports, Wii resort, Mario kart wii, Nintendo ds, PlayStation 3, GameCube, and more I have all seen numerous times in my life. Was it because my family used really old technology? Yes, probably. That’s not to say we didn’t have plenty of the more modern technology either. Our old van had a small screen at the top of it and a place to put DVDs in and watch movies on longer car rides, which is likely where much of these memories came from. For a long time we only had a ps3 and a Wii at our house, none of the new stuff, and that’s where much of the rest of my old memories came from. My point is, it’s entirely possible and reasonable that people that grew up mainly in the 2010s to know and remember and feel great nostalgia from these sounds. Many of my friends know these by heart, and all of my friends had Xbox 1s and ps5s and all the new tech as well.
@@borgthepig Yeah, and I'm saying there's a difference between someone growing up with old tech and content, vs. someone who actually grew up with these in the time it was created. Like I said, does it count if I have children and only exposed them to 1980's related content, like the Nintendo, or TV shows, movies, etc? Yeah sure, it counts, but it's not in the same time period.

The most memorable one for me was the old Disney intro… brought a tear to my eye listening to how beautiful it still sounds
Same! Brought me right back to my grandparent’s basement watching a movie with my cousins in our circle chairs lol
For me I was scared of it for sone reason. At some point in my late childhood something began to feel really off about it and I had nightmares about it. Same for the 20th century fox intro.
that logo was definetly better
Read this right as it was played
Nostalgic 😌 🤚
Who knew a video of random sounds could be such a banger?
One of the things I'll never forget is the excitement I felt when putting a movie in the DVD player and seeing all those intros. Good times.
I still do that!
Same
Omg yesss
As a 2000's kid this really brings back so many good memories, stay young people
I just realized, it’s kinda weird to see people born in the 2000’s implying that they’re super old now. The oldest person born in 2000 is 22 years old.
@@MiloMurphysLaw 21 here
22 here I remember the majority of these sounds
I’m 28 years old and someone who was a 2000’s kid. This beings me back a lot of great memories and times. It’s not the same now.
@@princepond1633 so u were born in the 19's ?
No matter in what point in the 2000’s you lived through ALL of these sounds are equally nostalgic.
No
Yeah what I didn't experience my dad showed me later
Nope
Yep⭐️♥️
Throwing in 2 specifically American commercials kinda invalidates that statement for the rest of us
This makes me wish I could go back in time and experience all of this again.
Mario Kart Wii brings back so many memories for me. The nostalgia is insane.
I still play it with my cousins and it's really nice and fun :)
@@bongirlbonnie1156 how have the Game Discs not die from scratches from the Wii. You are one lucky person

I’d give up everything I have just to go back to those times, I miss it so much man
God bless the first Hokage
Build a time machine that's what I'm gonna do and fix everything that we screwed up on like with Disney becoming bland and corrupt
I think we all would. Man those were simpler times.
I don't want to go back.
Me too man, me too.
My future kids: What was your childhood like?
Me: ... sit down, this will be awhile
just show them this video then pause and explain after every different thing pops up XD
Just show them this video
I’ll just tell them this 24:41
@@tesoro5620 lmao
Born in 1987, I remember all of these. Nice little trip down memory lane. Thanks 😊
First there's simple nostalgia, then for some reason the tear jerker is Wii Sports.
Damn, same by myself
Yes. That and Mario Kart Wii.
I came across this comment as I hit the Wii sports part 🤣
Shit that was the one which I felt the most
Me and my gf are 90s kids and we pulled out the wii the other week, blew off the dust and played wii sports. I wanted to cry and was happy at the same time. My brain was so confused and I felt 13 years old again.
"Coming soon to own on video and DVD"
Oh god this mostly reminds me of Winnie the pooh, but so many other VHS movies :( I can't believe my mom donated all our VHS tapes. We had probably at least 35
Can relate, sad times 😭
Same. They are still at our local goodwill. A good 70 something
I remember it before all the Tinkerbell movies too 😭😭😭
I still have mine thankfully. A lot of Winnie the Pooh and Pixar. Plus Pinocchio.
LITERALLY-
anything nintendo related just makes me feel warm inside, I tear up, i get goosebumps. like when the wii sports song reminded me of how much i sucked at bowling
Bro Nintendo gave us some of the best 2000 sounds ever, my Nintendo DS is still good and with full power, that battery is nutz😂 also the games are Soo good, like not graphically, cuz today they re better but the sounds and gameplay were Soo fun, man how I miss being a child :(
right i seriously miss everything Nintendo related from the 2000s it was truly the fkn best and so fun
Really? Bowling was my JAM. I beat every single one of my family members and got a super high score. I played it like every day xD

I played kinect sports
The video dvd one is gonna be engraved in my soul for forever man
I’m 22, and loved the piracy part. You knew a movie was gonna be lit when the piracy PSA played before it. It’s almost like they wanted me to steal.
same dude.... how time flies....
It was on every video though. 😂😂
Literally, I remember if we ever watched a movie in school, people wouldn't let the teacher forward through that PSA because we all enjoyed watching it for some reason 😂😂
When I was a kid, I always wondered why they had those messages because it never clicked to me that people steal movies 😂
“Piracy is a serious crime”
“HELL YEAH IT IS, BROTHER!”
"YOU WOULDNT STEAL A CAR"
Me as a child: *screaming int terror and confusion*
Bro same, that was scary but I jammed to the music
Oh my God I'm from another country so I watched everything dubbed as a kid this was dubbed too I didnt know other countries could relate too 😂
You wouldn't download a car
I never worried about it because I never stole something. But I'm sure I had at least 5 movies that my father got from sketchy places. They weren't official copies of the movie at least
Every time i put on polar express that would pop up.
We really never appreciated Wii enough at the time. Shit was game changing.
No seriously
frrr
I have two of them and play Mario kart all the time. It’s the best
They just released Switch Sports, and honestly, Wii Sports is still way better.
Wii was my childhood
I was born early 2000s, and man, does that hit hard. Vibing to Mario kart, Wii sports, and in general, everything, hit me hard. I miss the 2000s, it was great.
The “coming soon to dvd” is DEFINITELY the most nostalgic! I remember like 9/10 of the references! I LOVE THE WII ONES!! btw I still have a REALLY old wii
omg same
Me too.
Yo I still have my original Wii even though it stopped reading discs. Thank goodness the downloaded games introduced me to the original Super Mario and Zelda
I remember 9/11 of them
Sadly my family never once used any online parts of the wii
As a 80s baby I'm so happy to know that 00s babies have nostalgic moments now.. These tunes resonate and bring back some good memories. 🙂🙂🙂
What would you say are some of the most nostalgic things you’d be able to immediately recognize from when you were a kid?
I mean the Disney intro was the same in the early 90s as well. There are a couple in here for us old knackers as well. :D
In 2040 we will also feel nostalgic about the 20s / early 30s.
@@br.sr.5939 no 20s and 30s childhood is basically a joke
@@NWO4LYFBABY thats what you say now but then we will def say the same about the 20s / early 2030s
I grew up in the 2000's and this just hits different. Especially the Wii ones. I wish I could go back and enjoy it one last time, because I don't remember that much. All these sounds made me feel like a child again. So weird but so beautiful at the same time.
Ok but like, Wii music fucking slaps still lmao. I grew up in 2000’s too 💜
@@SkettiKandie YES I USED TO NEVER START THE GAME JUST TO VIBE TO THE SOUNDTRACK

Mann, you hit the nostalgic spot in me 😢👌🏻
I’m glad I still have my wii in storage. I’m going to plug it in
Turning 30 this month~ listening to these sounds made me cry
Thank you again for this video, it’s like a time capsule 🫶
Turned 30 just a couple weeks ago, time flies

The disney intro really hits hard. It’s 7 pm on a Saturday night, mom puts the vhs tape in and snuggled up with my pillow pet and a blanket. Life was truly good
ye,im trying so hard not to cry
I remember as a Dad of two kids in the early 2000's putting my youngest daughter to bed with a VHS of her favorite babrie films to get to sleep with... Life truly good back then!
Now I’m not even an adult and I recognize basically all these sounds. Having older siblings has its perks.
