While the video was helpful, there was no mention of removing the finger print scanner ribbon or being careful not to damage it when removing the back cover. If anyone removes the back cover the way you see in this video, don't expect the fingerprint scanner to work anymore. There is a short ribbon connector almost directly between the scanner and the edge of the phone. Don't just pull the cover away.

Meh, who actually uses a finger scanner anyway? How are you supposed to use the phone if you lose your finger later?

Thank you. What is the cost of this process

Really wish they'd go back to screws rather than glue. Surprised they haven't started sonic welding them shut yet, it's like the assholes expect you to just pluck down another $1000 instead of fix it and that gluing will actually make everyone buy another instead instead of just put up with the extra annoyance.

What is the name of the glue that you use?

Is there any effect if the phone wasn't switched on for several months. (I mean without doing a battery replacement/repair)

I might be able to do this after 100 light years.

yes. unless you want to risk damaging it by bending it, shortcuts are never a good idea. The defective part is underneath the mb.

I stabbed my note 9 through the back of the phone piercing the battery. Now the phone wont charge and will only turn in if its plugged into the charger. But it wont get past the first screen. It wont boot. Do you think I need to replace more then just the battery?

yes. in fact might as well forget it, so much damage is done from corrosive battery smoke and juice (if not right away it will be soon) it would be cheaper to just buy another.

Note9 phones are all bricking up after a few months because of some certain apps. Samsung don't know which apps cause all their note 8, 9's to stop accepting a charge. They said that they do know that if our note8, 9 phones get below 10%, it will possibly stop accepting a charge and it just bricks. Nothing they can do. That's what Samsung themselves told me on phone and had me take my 6 month old brand new note 9 back to best buy, pay them 300 and they would send me a refub note! I'm so pissed!! I did it BUT i did NOT TURN IN MY BRICKED NOTE 9 because it's only 6 months old!!!!!! And why do i have to pay THEM 300 dollars for a old raggedy refurb that the battery won't stay charged over 10 hours now??! I bought a brand new unlocked note 9 for a thousand dollars cash! Wtf??!! CLAD ACTION!!! SAMSUNG- YOU SUCK!!!!!
