Good to see the old owner took care of it just got another new car but most my life I have had cars in the 1 to 5 k price range with little issues. Never understood my fellow cheapskates not taking the time to armourall and vacuum here and there. Just becuase your cheap doesn't mean you have to drive a bin and allot of these old cars have basic interiors but the good thing they look as good as new with a bit of elbow grease.

Have you had a lot of expensive mechanical repairs like engine or transmission or just regular maintenance also have you taken it on any road trips recently?
I wanted to send that jimmy message to just get your attention to send this I have been a subscriber for a little while now not bragging or anything I have been looking for a Corolla and I find one I want and I pulled the trigger it’s a 1998 Corolla Le and wnated to know if you know anything in specific about the 8th gen. Those are a great gen of the Corolla, not much goes wrong with those except they burn oil as they age (sometimes large amounts like a quart every 200 miles!) so make sure to check the oil level and ask the previous owner if it burns oil. Or start it up and rev it a few times to see if it puffs any smoke. Smoke is a sign of oil burning but as long as you keep them full they're usually okay. The 98-02 can do 250k miles pretty easily with maintenance, and thanks for subscribing and watching I appreciate all my viewers and have no problems answering questions here and there!

You should put some heat shrink on those splices under hood. I do even on interior wiring.

I daily one of these with a manual. Even took it on the twisties and it does real good. bone stock, even.
