If you mean pre UTH nerf, there was no way they could've predicted what type of cards they bring in the Naxxramas release so they weren't wrong. Back then Hunter was based mostly on the UTH combo. And I personally haven't heard anyone say that Hunter will die, because of the Buzzard nerf.
It actually makes me feel pretty good because it means that streamers can't dictate what the meta is. Hunter didn't stop being viable just because Trump declared it dead when buzzard was nerfed.

However, I would say this is more of a hybrid between what I call Deathdruid (Because you need a lot of Deathrattle) and your typical druid. My Deathdruid list has a lot less class minions in it because they just aren't durable enough for the main point of the deck. Either way, it's funny seeing parts of your own deck at a higher level. Though, despite the higher ranking I do feel his deck list needs improving since I like the more durable version I devolved.
aww, that poor paladin. Had chow nicely traded to knife jug, had all the board clear used and healed for 12. after all that still lose to hunter. ( mainly because he does not have board control tho. but still.. poor paladin.)
Does Trump not know you can hover your secret to see what it is or does he just not care? For example when he said "I hope it's snake trap" after the Mad Scientist died, he could have just checked.
If I'm thinking of the same part you are, he was able to tell what trap it was because he had a secret in hand. If the secret in hand was still playable, it meant that it was a different secret. If it was the same secret, then the secret in hand would be unplayable and not have the blue border around it.
I think in situations like this where knowing which trap it is does not affect his decision making, he purposely avoids checking the trap because he doesn't want to give any info to the opponent about his deck. (The opponent might notice you checking the trap and make the conclusion that you run more than one type of trap in your deck)
I just figured that in situations where it doesn't matter what his secret is, he prefers to keep it a surprise for himself. However, I could see Trump not hovering over it for something as small as they'd see him hovering over the trap.
FYI Does trump know that hovering over the secret above his portrait shows what it is? Because he never did it and was saying he was "hoping" it was certain traps. Just saying could influence plays if he did know!!!

Palkdhk Hfgwiaukl Well it's sometimes usefull. You can activate a Pyro with that, Violet Teacher, Auctioneer, that kind of stuff. And i think you can still deal damages if you have some spell power minions but not sure.
It kinda depends on the meta and the deck composition you're running, I think. Having Explosive Trap without Hunter's Mark vs. control is probably as bad as Snake Trap without taunts and/or Knife Juggler vs. aggro, and there's not much reason to run Hunter's Mark right now. Haven't seen a handlock in a while at Rank 3. It's also probably the easiest trap to play around, since you can still trade and keep the board clear without triggering it by hitting face.
No space. I play a similar deck and it's tuned up pretty tightly. There's a lot of variation but this version is damn good. If I were to replace anything, I would MAYBE replace Loatheb
From watching Trump, it seems that if they nerfed Hunters damage output just a little bit it would make it more interesting as it's then riskier going for face... maybe, I dunno. Even when I played WoW I always hated Hunters, I was a Tank and they freaking run rings round me every time, made worse by my troll of an older brother playing one and having a pet that could insta-heal every few seconds, such bollox.

druid at 10:20 ish could have won, he missplayed he swiped the silverback and used all three minions to attack the face if he ahd swiped the face and used one of his 3damage minions to finnish the silverback he would have done 1 more damage to the face and that would have been lethal
Swiping on the face would still be 1 damage off. Cause Trump was at 15, swipe would leave him at 11, and using 3 on the silverback, would leave just 10 damage on the board including hero power.
4(Swipe)+4(Golem)+3(Ooze)+3(Face) still equals 14, either result he was 1 damage off lethal. In that case, hitting the Silverback with a minion would've been the worse play because the snakes from snake trap would trigger Knife Juggler which had a chance of killing 1 of the Oozes, if not 2 if RNG goes exactly the Hunter's way with the 3 knives.

He's not at first but he gets at least a little better as he plays more games. It's just because it is completely the opposite of his normal playstyle. I give him credit for going for it tho as playing outside of comfort control classes is how one evolves as a player. It does kinda suck to watch tho.
hunter is kind of a sucky class. i mean if you play hunter its basically indicated that you go rank 5 or higher, but you don't really do anything to get that high. i'm ashamed when i win with hunter because i don't deserve it, but with other classes like priest or paladin it's really hard to get to high ranks because of all these huntards everywhere :/ IT'S SO DIFFICULT !

It does 0 damage(slam) or summons nothing (hounds), basically, it is a waste of mana.
