It were Pakistani rogue elements like Abidi who mesmerised the UAE rulers to establish BCCI. to play foul with Pakistanis money who were working in Arab countries. That bank was a big scam for the accounts of account holders to issue loans against their accounts.

Shehzad is playing a great role in imparting informal education to large number of youth and thinking people in Pakistan. Shehzads this series may greatly help in understanding the history of Pakistan in a proper perspective. Thinker, writer, broadcaster and columnist Hasan Nissar says “ tum tarikh ko musk karoge to taarikh tumhe musk karegi “ . Well it’s an accepted statement world-over . It may take another 25 to 30 years for Pakistan Establishment to degenerate and destroy itself in an internal power struggle , inertia and choked financial resources.
Nevertheless most importantly it should be thought how to bring a semblance of political reconciliation and advent of result oriented education. Hard times ahead indeed

On another note, Musharaf is from my city. And Zia my university. Very unfortunate though to have them as my super seniors. But then, I, was not born when Mushraf fled his Darya Gunj house or Zia graduated from St Stephen's College. That's the saving grace. Good we had them out of city, university and country.

It's not the same, Pakistan has 3 ruling power houses Feudal Lord, Army and Political party where 3 of these parties fight like Cats and Dogs to seize the entire power. Hence that causes instability.
In India doesn't matter how corrupt you are or Criminal records you have. If you win Elections you are the king now whether you do good work or Abuse the power It's upto the Elected representative but We don't have multiple power corridors and have Separation between Judiciary, Legislation and Executive. Hence India might be corrupt but far more stable cause there's only one party or Individual has the power.
In India Politicians abuse their power whereas in Pakistan it's a total mess and continuous 24×7 live Game of thrones.
      There's a difference

It is good to paint the full spectrum of election manipulations that have taken place in Pakistan, but we do not have concrete and foolproof evidence to support the earlier ones. The current 2024 elections have a lot of documentary evidence and cannot be neglected or put aside (mainly because of its social-media support). Focusing on the Feb 08, 2024 elections should be done and that is the only way to dislodge Pakistan's Army illegal stranglehold over power and to empower the Constitution of Pakistan and give justice and fair-play its due state. Discussing the previous ones (with no evidence for obvious reasons) dilutes the current struggle for democracy and should be avoided at all costs. A lot of what you had said in today's podcast lacks credible evidence and thus may have little traction. It is unfortunate that we do not have evidence for previous election manipulation, hence focusing on the current with credible evidence is the way to go to uproot the evil system in vogue. Pakistan can only progress and prosper when Pakistan Army takes the back seat...we do not have any other option.

Bro wants to say establishment BAD. We get it. Itny bachay bhi nhi politicians k victims rahien hon, they are the real villians when you think how in every dictatorship they all were real beneficiaries. No matter what it is, democracy or dictatorship, we always had the same people sucking the resources out from this poor country into their pockets
