it's shocking how Pakistanis just pretend kargil didn't happen, it is the most significant geopolitical event between the countries in 30 years but it has been removed from Pakistani consciousness so thoroughly that many Pakistanis don't even count it as an indopak war.
Kargil put back peace initiatives by 30+ years and there is no accounting for it

It is not his job to worry about the good money or bad money. He didn’t even elect the leaders for crying out loud. His leaders elected themselves. What is he supposed to do ? Not complain when he can’t feed his family anymore. This only means that you have not seen hard times and are just a keyboard warrior

Some quickly put together achievements of Gen Musharraf:
    1. Destroying an on going peace process when India was considering giving up some land to resolve Kashmir issue.
    2. Ensuring that India will never negotiate on Kashmir.
    3. Engineering yet another crushing defeat of Pakistan Army in Kargill and inflicting the highest ever loss in all the wars between India and Pakistan.
    4. Military coup in order to avoid a well deserved court martial and punishment.
    5. Facilitating 20 year US War in Afghanistan for nothing in return.
    6. Allowing US bases in Pakistan.
    7. Eating up natural gas reserves of Pakistan in a 4 year period.
    8. Zero growth in electricity and increasing load shedding from 1 hr a day to more than half a day.
    9. Stopping industrial and agricultural growth forever and converting Pakistan into total import dependent country.
    10. Expanding DHA to eat up the entire country.
    11. Making the Greed reserved for Generals only available to all the officers passing out of PMA.
    12. Chaudries of Gujrat
    13. Missing persons .....
    14. Endless murder stream including Bugti and Benazir
    and worst of all
    15. Imran Khan Niazi.

Nishan e Pakistan Gen Musharraf must be an an Indian mole planted by India in the Pak Military school. An old Delhi boy, it was decided by Raw to plant him in Pak and then RAW succeeded in making him a General and then President. A Democrat to the core, he succeeded in bringing a fellow Democrat, a particular Niazi as the PM in course of time.
This must be the best tribute to RAW.
Media in Pakistan learnt the hard way that TRP only will decide the sustainability of a media channel. But in the converse way! Lesser the TRP, the better. That is democracy of pakistan.

Why blame Musharraf alone? What about the million "patriotic" elite Pakistanis --- in the Army, Civil Services, Press, Judiciary and the wealthy landed gentry that supported him? If any one of these groups had implacably opposed him he could never have survived as dictator. After all, it was just a revolt of lawyers that finally brought him down. The basic idea of "one-person-one-vote" democracy never took hold in Pakistan from its inception, much to its existential detriment. A large and diverse country, where certain groups have extreme privileges and others have none cannot survive for long. "A house divided against itself cannot stand", as Abraham Lincoln said.

I will be not be surprised if Modi wins Nobel peace prize if He continues one more term. In the 90's, people of Pakistan grew up without internet, so the debate always ended up as my word against yours, but now in current information age, its the entire world's words against Pakistan. These so called liberals are a nice excuse of being enlightened in Pakistan, but they are the once who always cry about Islamophobia the most. Pakistan after 75 years is exactly where it is supposed to be, and this makes me really happy to witness the unfolding of reality for pakistan as they are on cusp of disaster.
