    Very enjoyable to watch your scratch building, and that's the best demo of link and length tracks I've seen. Lovely build. Looking forward to the paint. Cheers! 🍻 👍And Merry Christmas! 🎄🎄🎄

    Great video. 👍 fun watching guys fix what company's forget to do. I like some of the older Tamiya, italeri, just to replace and add to there kits. I'm right now backdating Tamiya's newest or I should say only Sdkfz 165 Hummel. It's satisfying odd I guess.

      Totally agree Clayton, these old kits allow us to make them uniquely our own. Happy Holidays and stay safe my friend, and model on!!

    Hillbilly!!! The extra attention you pay to detail really pays off. It's inspiration for me to get finer with the building I do. I do like to scratch build and your stuff helps me out. Thanks Johnny

    You could always cut the extra track horn off?

  • @rickmoreno6858

    When I built zvezda bt5, which is the old italeri mold, repoped by zvezda or something along those lines, and that is why you have so many sink marks in this kit those molds are approaching 30byears old, anyhow I had the same issue with making that antenna had to scratch build my own. And I to had to search the instructions a sprues for any mention of it, which there was none. Great work my hill billy uncle. By the way I have all notifications for your videos on and it hasn't said a word to me about your uploads.

      Hey Rick, nice to know that someone else has had to deal with this kind of kit, but I love a challenge, (being careful not to upset the model gods! lol). I don't know why you're not getting notifications my friend; they should show up in your TH-cam "bell" at the top right of your screen when your signed in. If not, try unsubscribing and then subscribe and hit that notification bell again. If that doesn't work let me know and I'll research it. Thanks so much for watching and stay tuned, I'm here for the long haul, model on my friend!!

    You could always cut off the extra guide horn?

    • @hillbillymodeling
      @hillbillymodeling  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for the comment, Steven, I love hearing from you! As for the guide horn, the BT-7 was prone to breaking those off because the drive sprocket only had 4 pins that engaged them leading to frequent breakage, at least that is what I read. The spare track shoes are a stacked pair with the flat shoe on the bottom on each rear fender extension, so I left the guide horns on. Thanks so much for commenting and watching, I really appreciate it! Stay safe and model on my friend!!
