Dark Drinker is definitely S tier. And I would argue black spindle too, since it was the best weapon for a lot of raid encounters. Year 1 Suros Regime was so damn good too
Black spindle was very good for Kings Fall, but it became obsolete as Ex Machina basically became flat out better than it(in most situations) plus it was a legendary sniper, allowing you to use a different exotic if the option presented itself. I’d say Black Spindle is good on A tier, but yea I was shocked Dark Drinker wasn’t immediately put to S tier
@@aidenation101 ex machina loses in every situation that has a stationary boss. Reason being is you don't lose time to reloading and therefore deeeps
LowMan Josh Yea and I totally agree with you on that front, which is why it’s so good in King’s Fall. But other then that, that’s about it, because it gets outclassed in VOG by Sleeper + Ex Machina combo for both Templar and Atheon; There’s almost no way you can use it effectively in Crota’s End(compared to other exotics); and Wrath of the Machines it has one chance with Vosik, but Ex Machina wins again because of its bonus damage to fallen, allowing it to surpass as not only a legendary sniper outclassing an exotic in almost every way, but even more so when you consider that the exotic slot is then open for you to use. Even in things like strokes or nightfalls, Ex Machina is still the best pick for reasons mentioned above. But I do agree that Kong’s Fall is where it really shines in DPS output, especially in Golgoroth. But the only other place you can really use it is in Warpriest, which MIGHT have been outclassed by Sleeper and Ex Machina(but I’m not entirely sure on that).
@@aidenation101 I would agree in most cases against fallen . But sleeper in d1 didn't split on ricochet like d2 only thing that was special about it was it being a heavy single shot fusion that hit crits when tbh. Dps on black spindle and a cluster rocket worked just as well if not better. Only time I pulled sleeper out in any raid was templar every encounter it's black spindle outside of daughters cause of flinch and hands .. (so touch of malice is used sometimes)
Mind you between my launch account on xbox and my ps4 (which I have 1500+ hours on my titan alone on) I still raid weekly with my clan. We all hate d2 but still play d1.

yea the gally and ice breaker were really the only S weapons in my opinon, red death was up there too after it got buffed. that was my main pvp and in the rotation for main pve weapons as well. dont know why he put it in b teir

Bro, sleeper is sold S just due to raw damage output on critical hits. It was a solid raid weapon. if you ran a 6 man with sleeper you could finish the raid in like 2 rounds.

Sleeper should be like S+ tier
Sleeper is the end all be all of guns in destiny 1- you do not know how much my friends were impressed by it- not to mention the easy quest line- the hard part is getting all the dvalin things- if your lazy just look up the answers to the codes. Sleeper carried me through multiple raids, strikes, everything!
Pocket Infinity was so strong, so broken Bungie literally left it in Y1 never too be seen again.

It was so broken it got BANNED and exiled to never return. It was the ONLY exotic in Y1 that didn’t come back. S tier, full stop.

It was god-tier in D1, one of the go-to, most used exotics in year 1. In D2 i NEVER see anyone using the Suros Regime.

Yeah I had no idea what he was talking about. Sleeper was THE exotic heavy for d1 year 2 and even 3 to some extent. It was way worse in d2 I haven’t even seen anyone use it in years.

See my thing with this list is there are some exotics in the list that your just to biased about, pocket infinity deserves s tier due to the fact bungie literally said it's never coming back, and fabien strategy was garbage for a long time, but it did get buffed to have insane damage when people got near, but for the most part I agree

I think he's just biased against fusion rifles in general, Sleeper Simulant should be higher, Plan C I'd say at least deserves C tier too. There was a time in crucible where fusion rifles were super OP and that thing was in every single match.

I actually went back to D1 recently and became really good with some weapons I never used. Necrocasm is extremely good in crucible, and learning how to use NLB makes you the most deadly player in the match. People also use the raid exotics all the time and it terrifies me. TLW is still very good if used correctly, and First Curse is fun and can dominate a match if you know what you're doing.
Side note, I'm really glad you're making more videos. This was super good:)

Necrochasm is okay for a 900rpm auto but my doctrine of passing, soul stealers claw, and even atheons epilogue do better
Queen Bracker's Bow was amazing in D1 when it first came out. If I remember correctly it had 70 ammo for reserves meaning it was a special weapon that could be used as a primary.
Destiny 1 mida was amazing in d1 for it's capability in crucible and it's speed in pve especially since once you get the stench and run the the chest this thing is so helpful

I miss First Curse and (REWORKED)Dragon's Breath. It feels like everyone remembers Dark Drinker but Raze Lighter, Bolt Caster, and even Young Wolf's Howl(after its buff) were just as powerful in their own way. It makes me sad that it feels like they won't ever bring back the og sword trio. We have Falling Guillotine and Temptation's Hook, but it truthfully isn't the same.

I loved Zhalo Supercell so much in D1. Precision kills chain lightning and refill your magazine out of thin air. Awesome for PvE completely sucks in PvP.
Patience and time, and Monte Carlo were godly. Wish they'd bring back patience and time in D2.

I feel like everyone forgets about the buff that Young Wolf's Howl got that made the ammo consumption the same as the other swords and gave it more damage. I would personally put it in B tier

I remember joining my friends VOG as a new player, barely high enough to do it, right as they entered the final damage phase of atheon. Got the Vex and didn’t even know it was the most op weapon at the time. Good times
I haven’t played much Destiny outside of grinding the first couple months of D1 and the Taken King, but the memories I had early in D1 were so great. I got the Red death as my first exotic which was amazing. Then I got the Invective, Icebreaker, and the truth. Never got the Gjallarhorn unfortunately. The exotics I got were so awesome. I miss those days.

The final weapon on the b tier wil always be my favorite, its really op for taking out enemys and does good Job in pvp aswell. i also really like the 4th horseman so idk why that one is ranked so low.

Y'all never used SUROS in vanilla Destiny 1 pvp and it shows. One of the most busted weapons to ever exist.

@@johndavis8746 It was the only answer to Vex Mythoclast. I bought it from Xur I think it was the second exotic he sold and without it PVP was impossible to play if someone with a Vex Mythoclast showed up. Pre Nerf the Vex had like 50 shots or something.

You should probably use the exotics before ranking them so you judge them based on actual performance and not based on age old memory. But fair list, I can get behind some of the choices

Necro was my go-to auto-rifle in PvP. Landing those headshots in year 3 destroyed Titans and Worlock in clusters on Thieve's Den on point B.

Queen Breakers was so good in d1 me and my buddy did the 2v3 challenge trials card with it and went flawless
I was one of the first people to get universal remote in D1. I probably got it maybe 2-3 days after launch from just a basic strike. Back when all rewards were completely random. I actually got it before I got my first legendary. I tore up the crucible for a long time with that thing.
